So no Moby Dick x Nebula cross just yet, but that is another grow.

The one week old Nebula clone cutting is starting to yellow just a bit, so a feeding is due tomorrow.

24 hours of dark starting tonight then Moby goes under the 600w, and the three Nebula will hang out under the 400w at 12/12.

Thanks guys. I like the fact that Nebula is looking like a Delta IV rocket shape: a tall central spear with shorter side branches that stay near the center, and compact width so pots can be placed close together without crowding. A little lst on the side branches to bring them out away from the trunk and they are good to go.

So here we are at Day 44 and the grow room has been completely reworked. Mylar covers the walls, a partition wall is in place, the 400w moved next to the newly setup 600w, a 20 amp circuit dedicated to lighting, environment is balanced, and all of the girlies are arrayed for full power flower.

Here are a few pics. You can see how much more room they all have to become monsters.

The first two pics are the 44 day Moby Dick and Nebula. The third is of the grow room before canopy adjustment and the last is of everything 100% balanced and complete in all of it's hps glory.

Hey Ocalli. I used the white side of the sheet on the front and the mirror the back on this go around.

I suppose I should explain that I know I do not gain as much reflectivity using the white side, but that is the point as the center of the lights are 24" from the wall and I do not want hot spots or heat buildup.

Dinafem - Moby Dick

The best known strain in our catalogue, it is also one of the strongest and very typical sativa.

It is the result of crossing the 2 best clones of our Mother Plants, a sativa with an indica. Moby Dick is our most psychoactive strain with a concentration of up to 21% THC and the presence of THCV, a substance present in equatorial sativas produced in response to the sun’s ultraviolet rays; this substance makes the effect of the THC stronger, to the point that the effect can be felt after just 2 or 3 puffs. The low CBO concentration helps to make the effect psychoactively intense and lasting; it speeds you up both physically and mentally and the come down is long, slightly physical and noticeable.

It produces great hunger and thirst, and it is advisable to eat and drink well, to counteract its effects. Due to this increase in appetite, it is recommended to treat the secondary effects of chemotherapy and anorexia. There are 2 main phenotypes for this cross, a dominant sativa which is present in 65% of the plants approximately, and the rest, that are usually smaller and faster.

The sativa phenotype has a wood, pine, incense aroma, and the indica type is sweeter.

To develop this strain to its full potential, it needs a lot of light, up to 800 watts per square metre and a very high E.C between 1.5 and 2.00 as this strain needs more feeding than most of the strains.

It is highly recommended to control the pH as well, making sure it does not exceed 6.5 otherwise it could demonstrate symptoms of iron deficiency in the form of progressive yellowing of the inter-venal spaces on the leaves and wrinkling on the tips of the leaflets. This defiCiency does not really affect the plant’s health but it could restrict the harvest if it is really serious.

Outdoors, full sun, plentiful soil and water and widely spacing the trees 3 m apart will ensure trees which grow to 3 m tall and a harvest of up to 1500 grams in optimal conditions. The flowering period is quite fast indoors (60/70 days), 15th October outdoors with good mould resistance inherited from the sativa parent plant.

Paradise Seeds - Nebula

Nebula means "starcloud." Bred by Paradise Seeds in 1996, this variety received the name for its stellar qualities. Nebula has an open structure that is excellent for indoor farming where the plants perform with optimal results in a sea of green set-up. This variety has also been successfully grown outdoors in Holland and would be an appropriate choice for outdoor gardens in temperate zones that offer a 9 week minimum flowering time before the first frost.

Nebula stretches slightly, but produces obese buds when placed under lots of light. Like the name suggests, Nebula twinkles with the coating of THC glands, which are bound to take you into the realms of space - or possibly just make you spacey. The buzz is transcendental and cerebral, sometimes bordering on the psychedelic. Nebula may earn the nickname "honey pot" for its sweet smell and distinctively honeyed fruit flavor. This variety is a tasty smoke, even for the veteran stoner.

that reminds me of a story i once heard. Some dude had some huge ass mj trees outside his house.. huge ones.. so chrimbo came around and he dediced to decorate them.iHe did such a great job decorating them that the neighbors started stopping by for a cloer look. Well one day even the cops stopped by for a closer look .lol..and then the sad part..the pigs chopped it down and confiscated it and arrested him.. i think this happened in norway .
