Mixing coco and happy frog...nutrient question...

I've never grown with coco before, and since I had about a half bag of Happy Frog kicking around, I put together a mix of coco, Happy Frog, and perlite, just to give it a try. I just switched it to bloom, and a question occurred to me. I picked up the various Advanced Nutrients coco specific nutrients, and was now wondering if this is for growing in pure coco, or if it's okay to use it with this coco/soil/perlite mixture. So far, the whole grow phase went great, the plants are healthy looking, and they seem to be doing very well...but I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this.
