Wow. I looked through all the posts recently. What's with the folks knocking low wattage HPS? I'm running 100 watts between two plants and things are GORGEOUS. Rock those Lowes lights! View attachment 972202 Just over 4 weeks flowering.

I didn't get mine at lowes, I just had to speak up

Elaboration? That HPS is NOT anywhere near adequate for growing, aka: CRAP. Just invest in the beginning to get good results.

What the hell are you talking about? First off, that is not an elaboration, you explained absolutely jack shit about why you think the light is "crap." You can't just say something is crap and call it elaborating, it isn't. Elaborating implies that you explain your reasoning. You have offered no reasoning whatsoever, which is very annoying.
Also, I'm not trying to do a supergrow, I'm running a stealth grow in a fucking MINI FRIDGE! Its tiny. 70 watts of HPS is the perfect size producing 6800 lumens. I'm augmenting that light with a 68w CFL for a total 11k lumens, more than enough for a fridge that is maybe 2 cubic feet. That's 2 CUBIC FEET, enough room for ONE plant to flower.

The pic on the left is a shotglass grow. I didn't grow from seed, but it was a tiny clone, maybe an inch high from a tiny branch. I'd say we are at week three or so in flowering.

BTW right now I'm running 1 70w HPS, 1 68w floro, and one 23w floro. I guess that's like 13K lumens. I'm going to try to add some more light if I can find room for it. The temps have been around 90 but I don't think it would hurt to go a little higher at this point.

dude thats funny I have some bag seed planted, I planted 50 seeds and got 4 plants outa them, one looks beautiful, two are deformed, and one is normal.
I've got something weird going on. These are just bagseeds, and I was only able to get three to germ successfully, so I expect weird things, but still...
This one looks totally normal. Completely random bagseed, but look'n good. This one got going around 3/2/10.
This one, I don't know what is going on with it.
Same deal with this one.
I should add that all of these sprouted about the same time. The first one is going great, so I hope that is a fem. I don't know what the deal is with the other two.
