Milton Friedman's "Free to Choose"and Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged are the two books that changed me 180 degrees politically.

i've already sat through micro economics, macro economics, economies of scale, economic development of the americas, and economics for managers,

that's 15 hours a week, for a whole year, of economic courses. i think i've had my fill.

i did see the first one, i don't think the other ones are going to be much different....

and free market economics don't work with the health care industry, there's a case study on the subject called THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

You were a lefty!?! :eyesmoke:
The minimum age for voting was 21 at the time. I threw my very first vote to John F. Kennedy. Then I voted for McGovern because he was for legalizing pot. They didn't come more to the left than McGovern.

Ahh the follies of youth. There, I admitted it. I am ashamed. :-P

JFK was a good vote. i like everything ive learned about JFK. not so much the rest of the family.
JFK would have been a american hero had he ever been able to distribute US dollars and do away with the federal reserve. as soon as he was killed his EO was done away with by LBJ.
there was one crooked SOB . LBJ.

The USA hasn't had a true free market economy since 1913. 15 hours a week for 8 months and you have had enopugh? Hrmmph, I personally spend 20-30 hours a week voraciously reading about economics and have done so for many years now and only consider myself a neophyte. I also have a BA in Business. If you think you can understand economics with only a few hundred hours of classroom lecture, next you'll think you can competently run a whole country with only 2 years of senate experience too.
