Midweek Song Promotions

Rec'd third order from MWS. 1st order was a test and below $100 US. Shipping and or guaranteed additions were confusing at first. Last 2 orders were full of discounts and promos. The Black Friday order was nicely discounted, free ship and 9 3-bees. Paid for guarantee. This last order got like 74 beans. Wound up with 11 3-bees. :) I now have so many 3-bees I don't know what to do with all these genes! To bad for me... :) Free ship but again I bought Guaranteed ship. Makes me more comfortable that way. Don't mind the extra cost for what it does. I did not realize I ordered a DP 10 pack with a promo attached so I rec'd a DP ball cap in the order. And two unknown Nirvana 3-bees that were promos too. So with the 3-bees I have a bunch of fem'd beans and few autos as well. Never tried them before. Always been a regular beans type so I could toss some allergy powder. I like doing that and trying to find my clone only trophy.

I have been very happy with receiving my orders. I always panic until they arrive. And afterwards a little too. (darn gov spies...LOL!) Do not know germ rates yet or quality of strains selected.

Lewis has always been right there for help and questions. I do not however like how much order and customer info is required and kept. I would like the option after the sale and goods received to be able to delete all that saved info within MWS's site. UK may be different but here if the Feds seize the stores all that info is in the seized computers and they do use it against you. I guess that is the electronic age we live in.

Just read about the roll20 discount wish I had used it!

Third order placed last Saturday, arrived today (Friday) through SF.

Yup, bought the T-Shirt and tracking was thrown in for free, eh?

Why shop anywhere else?

Thanks Lewis

Just got my order from mws. This was my first time ordering seeds online and they came highly recommended from a friend on the farm. I had no problem using the roll20 code myself and got 9 freebies with my order. I went with the guaranteed shipping with a nice mug to boot. The only issue I had was not receiving one of the breeder promos but I'm sure Lewis will be getting back to me soon on that. Can't wit to start my pheno hunt! Anybody know more info on the 3 bees seed they give as freebies?

Just as I said, Lewis got right back to me and resolved the issue. I would definitely recommend MWS. They're quick to respond and have some great breeders/selections to pick from. It only took 10 days from placing the order to my doorstep in the Midwest.

Came to inquire what I could possibly have done wrong. I ordered in December and received them before Christmas. Kept the packets unopened through the winter, stored in a fridge at 45 degrees F.

Used the wet paper towels route for some in April, and a couple in Black Magic organic potting soil. Kept wet and toasty at 76 degrees F on a heating mat.

Nothing germinated. I know the water's good, safe, PH neutral.

I wrote to the company a few minutes ago after 17 days waiting for germination. Then I read their policies and realized they said they won't respond to germination concerns.as their seeds are sold as souvenirs only.

So the only thing I wonder about is whether 45 degrees is too cold to store? I've stored others that way with no prob. Or was Dec to April too long to store them?

Everything else was done to conform to previous practice and a couple of the fem. seeds were ones I grew before from other seedbanks.

Anyone have any ideas where I may have done something wrong?

If its the same black magic potting soil I have then it's probably too hot of a mix for seeds. The stuff I have has a bunch of amendments in it

The Black Magic organic potting soil is not their blend with all the amendments. It's very neutral and I typically use it till the seeds go from seed trays to 1 gallon pots.

The two fem seeds in pots I'd grown before from other suppliers. I've only had a germ. problem with one other strain ever, not with an array like this, which included a couple Bodhi strains, a Gage Green strain, a Bomb seed strain, and a single feminized Jack H.

I'll just have to chalk it up as an entry into the WTF file and continue to covet Bodhi seeds till I get some viable ones from a fresher drop.
