I agree with all you say except the wild world.. most of the world is pretty civilized at this point
Have you been out of this country?? Take a trip 3 hours into Mexico and tell me your sphincter doesn't tighten just a tad. Something on the order of 85% of the countries on Earth are considered "3rd world countries". Look at examples of stressed times in our own "1st World Country". Katrina turned NO into a complete free-for-all in a matter of days. Sandy spurred a mass panic run on super markets and fuel stations.... If something happens that interrupts the power grid, fuel distribution and food distribution for more than 5 days you are looking a mass chaos. Harsh language and dirty looks aren't going to keep a person determined on stealing what little food you might have because they are in fear of their or their loved ones lives from taking it. I for one sleep better at night that every person in my home knows how to responsibly operate a firearm and my household maintains enough firearms so that in the case of an emergency we are able to defend each other and our property.

Point taken, But if the whole country flat out turns into all out war against each other because of something major happening then so be it.. noone will have guns anyway if it were up to me, take karate lessons lol. I just want guns out of stupid irrational peoples hands and the criminals really.. the truly responsible I do not have a problem with. I don't live in Mexico so I don't need a gun. If its the wild west there..then fine.. let everyone shoot each other over there. If a 3rd world country tries to invade the US, including Mexico, I think our military should be able to handle that.. they spend enough money and are supposedly the best in the world. :)

You do realize this world is interconnected and what happens thousands of miles away can be on your door step sooner then you'd ever think, right?

Let me put it this way. Marijuana is 100% illegal but some how people still can get marijuana. Where there is a will there is a way. Most of those uneven people you are talking about who go and commit acts of violence usually buy their guns at gun shows where a backround check is hard to come by.

It would be next to impossible to completely seal the borders and if they were able to the conspiracy nuts would fucking die of a heart attack fearing they were actually right about whatever it is they like to make believe in regards the NWO, FEMA and so on lol.
Just to clarify they will never be right.
