MetaGrow!!! Lots of Pics!!!!

So, I was playing around in the flowering tent last night, and I noticed something weird, but I was too tired to document it. So here we go again, a little more awake. I've been aggressively pulling leaves off of Little Sprout, one of my DWC plants, to expose her budsites to more light...Well, maybe this is her was of asking me to not to pull off her leaves, certaintly stopped me dead in my tracks. One of my leaf stems is budding...yep, you heard me, there are flowers growing out of one of the stems for a fan leaf. I checked too, it's not the branch that would normally grow in that node, because it HAS that branch too...Woot woot, yes please, Little Sprout! If only EVERY stem came with a bud!

The funny thing is, I was just reading a post the other day about someone with a fan leaf that is budding, and I thought to myself "now isn't that odd", and now here is something VERY similar happening to me! Sweet, I love freaks!!

Yup, I put your Grinspoon into soil today, had a nice lil tail on it. I meant to plant it yesterday, but I was so tired that I just neglected it. Hopefully nothing goes wrong, and it pops up soon. If not, I still have one more bean. I germed another Blue Mystic along with this Grinspoon, still at 100% germ rate of this order...I'm counting the Kushage because it has a single serrated leaf, and even if it doesn't live, it was a somewhat viable seed. If this Grinspoon grows I'll save the last seed, and we'll talk about that later

Dawg, you know this! Dollar Tree 2.5 gallon bucket-pots, I bought cheap soldering iron a few months back to make some homemade smart pots, I just use that to burn a few holes in the bottom. I'm all about being thrifty!

Yup, I had to work all day, so luckily I still have an hour and a half left of 4/20, but yeah, pretty gnarley shit...I wonder how big it'll get, it is pretty high up on the plant, so it should get a good amount of light.

Sweeeeeeeeet! What a crazy 4/20 in SF. Saw Ed rosenthal, ngaio bealum, and 20,000 people on hippie hill in golden gate park. Too tired now but I'll be posting pics. Hope you enjoy the last precious minutes of this holy day!!

p.s. just watched the video! little sprout is crazy, with those bud having leaves?! haha awesome man.

Man, sounds like a wild 420! Almost oo many people for my taste, I'm more of a small, casual get together kinda guy, and crowds make me nervous...But I'm sure since they were all stoners, I woulda loved it! But yeah, Little Sprout is doing some funky shit these days, can't wait to see how it develops!

Yeah, pretty trippy. I went to the dispensary before work yesterday, they hooked me up wit a goodie bag and a raffle ticket for some sick glass. I'm wearing the tshirt they gave me right now, actually.

So off to the HoeDepot to pick up some more dirt, I'd like to get my giant pots filled in the next week or 2. I was also thinking about going to this local dispensary to pick up some seeds...Got my eye on "Halo Kush" which is Larry OG X Tahoe OG, and I've heard nothing but good things about the Tahoe, and i've smoked the Larry, so I know it's up to par. Hopefully they're not charging an arm and a leg for them...but we'll see!

I had some Tahoe OG not to long ago and would try anything crossed with it.

Well, whats new in MetaLand...Hmm...Something has been eating my little seedlings outdoors. Yesterday it ate the top off of one of the clones, and today it completely devoured one of my Blue Mystics...like, not like there are holes in the plant, it is actually gone...I came home to just a stem sticking up outta the soil, I couldn't find any trace of the top. It almost makes me think someone is fucking with me, but oh well, I have the 2 seeds I planted the other day...One more Blue Mystic, and the Dr. Grinspoon that I'm dedicating to homer371, since you can't start a grow right now, I'm starting one for you!! Anyway, I might have to germ the rest of my seeds, I have 2 Blue Mystics and one Dr. G, and 5 of those humboldt seeds left. I didn't get the Halo Kush seeds yet, I thought to myself "I already have 24 plants outside, plus the clones and DWC plants", but now that something is grubbing out on my seedlings, I'm gonna get some more seeds ASAP, and start 'em indoors. Always good to have reinforcements when my seedlings are disappearing.

Haha, yeah, I might grow your Grinspoon bigger indoors before I move it outside...I dunno whats eating the plants, but if it happens again tomorrow, I'm moving all the pots...So yeah, definatley grow your Dr.G bigger indoors...Man, I've been talking to some guy here on RIU, looking like the Dr.G is gonna be at least 14 weeks to flower...lol...maybe a christmas/new years harvest??

yeah man, that's what i read too. 95+ days flowering, so over 3 months, late november harvest, depending how long you veg? either way, sounds like quite the project. if you want i can send over some care packages... child support, if you will. man, if i find some seed sellers tomorrow, i think i'm gonna go a little seed happy... let me know if you want something. it looks like my "survival seed" from the amnesia was only half baked, so right now i only have the 5 og sage seeds, so i do need to invest in my collection.

Haha, well right now I just need to get things going here, but I definately want to get a seed collection going. I'm figuring that I will get a credit card which I pretty much exclusively use to order during Attitude's monthly promos, so not only am I getting the seeds I wanna order, but I can start stocking up on freebies too! I figure I can afford 80-120 bucks a month to get a bitching collection going. Also I have that place near me that sells these seeds, but I'm not sure how legit they are. I guess the only way to find out would be to get a couple and grow 'em out, right? Fuck, I gotta wake up at the buttcrack of dawn for work tomorrow, and I'm not tired at all...I've got some smoking to do!

Okay a while since update time. I just started my outdoor thread and alot is going on over there to get my grow started, check it out!

Anyway, I'll be quick. Starting with the flowering plants in the DWC...these things are pretty massive, looking like they're gonna take a while to flower too, hope it's worth it! Haha, looks like it will be, and the bud it came from got me pretty fucking stoned, so I have high hopes!




And here's the lonely veg tent...not a lot going on here lately. I have the clones and 3 little seedlings destined for the outdoor grow...FIRST AND FOREMOST, HOMER371 CANNOT START A GROW AT THE MOMENT, SO I STARTED A DR. GRINSPOON FOR HIM


And here are a couple pics of Lefty, back in the veg tent, waiting for the re-veg to begin. She's still alive, so i'll just be patient with her. And also, a pic of the "Kushage" seed that I manually cracked, came out with one fan leaf...I mean, I think it'll live, it just might take a month to grow a couple inches...lol...If it doesn't die by itself, I'm not gonna kill it!

Yeah, I'm surprised at how big they got, and they're still growing. This strain is interesting, I think it' gonna take a while to flower. Just hoping they fill out nicely...that reminds me, I think I need to top off their water today.

oh yeah, those dwc babies are looking like beasts!! i forget, are you gonna finish those indoors or also transfer them out? and i'm happy to see lefty 2.0 is alive and well, definitely look forward to her second coming!
