so today I just got my meizihi 1200w so I will be doing a Comparison with viparspectra 1200w. They both draw about the same watts. I’m doing this to help others decide on what Brand leds to buy.
wow, this comparison is so cool! I vote meizhi 1200w, my baby girls like meizhi led:bigjoint:

I’m currently looking at another brand to compare or I may even try to make one my self but as you can see my girls love the MEIZHI. I have the 1200w (550) around. But now let’s see how long the light will last is the next question

I'm totally cool with you using these lights since you already have them but I feel you would have to be a fool to buy more of these kinds of lights. It's just a bad investment at this point.

What kind of lights do you use in your garden??

gromau5 on the tube will be your best place to start for diy led info, the diy led thread on here will also be invaluable, I LOVE both my hlgs. quantums are the way of the future

Gonna get a few of those 3000k kits for my flower tent and use one of these other leds for vegging now. These quantum Boards look really nice you think 2 or 3 be enough for a 4x4 135w for each borad?

Two of the double 3k kits will kill a 4x4 if you run the boards at 2100, the spread and brightness of the boards will really blow you away. Best luck with it all!!

So glad I’m able to return my meizhi. Look at the so called “new driver” they sent me to replace the bad one. What a joke. It went bad a few days after I got it. But here in a few days my hlgs will be coming and I can’t wait. Just wish I knew how easy it was to make your own like 5 months ago.... live and I learned!! In the other hand these vipars are nice leds They gonna be my new vegging lights.

Same tent 120cm×120cm.
It's not about how much light u get in but as it's not legal here and electric price is sky high, you would get bigger fine for stealing leccie that growing ,keep it cheep saves the day,.......

Great comparison! Ever see the spider farmer? Believe it's the same as Meizhi just different casing, and has a dimmer. I do like the blurple, this light shows more pinkish white then anything at full power. The picture serves no justice. IMG_20180524_155718.jpg I'm not a fan on how it makes my plants look. I own one of those, a unit farm ufo80 which I wished had the dimmer. That's a high end blurple. And I also have 2 DIY lights. One for flower one for veg; the flower light are led cob chips, and the veg is led strip lighting. The white light leds make my plants super happy and they pray hard.

Almost the end of week four. My hlgs haven’t come in yet. But soon. Ya I seen that light from meizhi. Just I don’t like that brand anymore since a driver went bad on the $300 unit a few days after I got it. And seen how cheap the drivers are. I know the lights won’t last long. But they do great for the time beating. I won’t waste anymore money on them for sure. So now I’m building my own Quality lights
