Megacrop

Ordered some of their bud explosion and sweet candy. Will be throwing those in in early and late flower. Anyone used either of those?

It's similar but not the same. The one I use is higher in P and lower in K. GL is basically 0-1-2 and what i use is closer to 0-2-1

I've been using this stuff but am almost out of it.

Just trying to keep the buds as hard as possible. They were good already but thought I'd try this as i had some to use up. Also trying to see is there is too much nitrogen in flower. so thought I'd offset that by adding some calmag. I'm really not sure if calmag is needed at all. One thing is my plants seem to be a bit greener at the end of flower than before using MC. So just making sure it's not too nitrogen rich.

no its a two part mix the cal mag was on the bottom of the bag,

Hey do you mind the edta chelating agent? I heard mega crop wants to add edta chelating agents... is that a bad thing?

Damn that stuffs almost identical to CaliMagic. And this just reiterates my point again that most CalMags either have 1 or 2 % N. So I wonder WHY IS greenleafs CalMag Pro 13%!?

GH uses it too.

Most every nutrient line uses EDTA or DTPA chelation. GL was one of the only ones I know of to use Amino acid chelation. They touted it as superior, first I've heard of them switching.

The white chunks in megacrop are cal-mag. I have a bag of their cal-mag and it's the same white chunks

My rosin press fixes the fluffy bud problem.

yup an its takes a minute or 2 to melt.

So would it be smart to crush up everything you've got from MC and get it small and uniformally mixed.

use BOILING WATER and make up a concentrate..
Then mix that ..already in liquid form.

that's what they did at home grown for years..
They just mixed up six pack for the lazy ones or the ones without scales?? huh??

Ya a 100X concentrate was the Max they told me to mix.

Maybe it's the smaller size packages but I don't seem to need hot or even warm water?

that would be the most you could dissolve into concentrate, no need to boil ...just creates issues with crystallization.

I grabbed some calimagic the other day.....who was saying there is a cal mag supplement with no Nitrogen in it 0%? I was using a 2% N cal mag but this stuff is 1%..so somewhat less. would like a zero N product.
