Thanks.
No, I mean was it for example on 4 x 4 feet? Or 3 x 3 feet?
It's like 3.75' x 3.75', not quite a 4x4. She had a lot of 12" donkey dicks so I got lucky with her. The one I chopped after that only gave me 16.5 zips. The 20 zip one I had a slight P toxicity, so I dialed it back down and got 16.5. I now see I lowered it a tad too much, lol. It's nice to have the freedom to make those kinds of adjustments.

I now have some Pineapple Chunk hanging which is part cheese. She gave me more branches, but hasn't stacked up as well as the cheese. I won't have a preliminary weight for a couple more days. What do you think it is?

In currently running MG. Plant seems to love it but I'm battling a big ph drift issue. May not be the nutes but we'll see (2x2 SCROG supported by 5gal DWC). My opinion as of right now is it's a good product. They offer a 300g free trial as long as you pay shipping.

I'm also MC in DWC, No Ph issues vary stabil, Lot's of Air!! Running 3 large air pucks with Fine tiny bubbles. Have a look at your root ball for signs of, Or start of possible root rot? {PH and root issues were a problem I had with the 5 gal buckets.} I run my plants in a Trash picked  old large boating cooler that had a broken lid. Made a new lid out Plywood with short sides to lock it in place, With holes cut in for the baskets, 15 gal's of actual water. Even has a drain plug to connect a hose to for draining. :bigjoint: Next move for me Coco drip to waste. Cheers and Tight Buds!!

H&M com100 ec meter, @ the 500 scale, that's calibrated with the 342 ppm and 1000 ppm H&M standards. Winter Tap water comes in at 172 ppm's, Just checked it. And it comes in about 100 ppm higher in the summer months due to the increase of chlorine use. I'm in Michigan, So we are drawing off the great Lakes for water. With a tap PH of 6.8 - 7.0 pretty much all year. But I do use a mix of tap water and --- I have a new 90+ condensing furnace that outputs lots of water @ about 3.5-4.0 PH winter and summer with Heat or AC usage. That water get pumped into 50 gal, food grade drums. And yes I use that low ph water for Ph down. And tap water for PH up. Hope that makes sense to you? I figure why waste it, Just going down the drain! It's just Condensation. I'v been doing this for several years now, It may sound complicated but its real easy. However remember each of my reservoirs is 15 gal's of actual water + Lots of Air! with Fine bubbles that's for 2 large or 3 med sized plants. With that much water and air my PH swings are very low. When I first started to grow I tried the 5 gal DWC bucket, I was chasing my tail with problems. So I went RDWC it was 100% better but grew tired of chasing Leaks, Root plugging my lines Cleaning all the buckets and lines and whatnot. So I went with single big Reservoirs Lots of Air, And my problems were gone. With the Quality of the water I have, My next move will be Coco drain to waste. Simpler to move the plants around, work on them, trim leaves-up and whatnot. And the MegaCrop is working great for those that use DTW Coco. Cheers and tight Buds and lots of air!!!!!!!

Off topic; do you DWC growers ever get mites? I've been in rockwool for many years and never once got them and wondered if it's strictly a problem for organics?

the menace does not discriminate
no matter your medium, they are always looking for a way in

From what I can tell, only soil growers the mites are finding their way in.
they can come in on clones, they can hatch from long-dormant eggs, they can hitch a ride on people, dogs, the wind. never doubt their insidious ingenuity. soil or hydro, if they can find a way to eat your girls, they will. that said, soil is a great place for dormant eggs or actual mites to hang out, and i dont think they can survive in water. im all hydro myself when it comes to indoor, i havent seen them in years either. but i remain vigilant, as we all should. it only takes one of those little shits to ruin your garden

I've never grown anything soil and always been in rockwool. I've never seen a mite and don't really know how to be vigilant. My dog passes my unfiltered inlets so if he's got any, they may enter, but for some reason choose not to. I'm perplexed why not while also knocking on wood, lol. I'm not saying I can't get them, but after all this time in 3 different grow spots, I would think I would have by now. I'm convinced they won't go near hydro. Maybe coco, but not rockwool and these guys say not DWC either.

come to think of it, i havent had them in dwc ever. but i have had them in other hydro systems, and ive seen plenty of other hydro growers get them too. maybe you just have a super clean space, good environmental control, and really healthy plants? i do know mites hate all of those things

Not really. Everything is DIY, I do wipe the walls with alcohol after every harvest to get trics off the walls and vac the floor, but that's about it.

Bugs just happen usually just passed around on clones and equipment or through venting most people don’t know them have them until they become a problem, most growers usually checks for things like that .been usin mc for a year or so don’t fine any difference in the old or new formula

Clones without mites? Yeah, right. Just plan on them having mites and keep them quarantined and treat them as soon as you get them. I never take clones from friends and surely don't buy them from dispensaries. I take my chances on seeds now.

True dat, I ended up getting a thrip infestation for a while from clones I got from my buddy. Luckily they dont do too much damage and finally got rid of them completely just my last run.

when was the last time you checked your ROs ppm/tds?

RO should be your base water to which add proper minerals, not whatever crap the municipality adds
Meh. I ditched my ro/di unit after my last 4 way rdwc run with shit genetics and lots of extracurricular shit going on. This run with the tried and true I've done nothing but tap water from a hose, a 2 site rdwc with better light blocker on the hose. wayyyy less slime and shit this run but I'm also not using any h2o2 and only running megacrop and koolbloom. So that's a thing too.
