mega crop vs Jack's professional vs hydroponic research v+b

Not really bro.
They said in the post the have a booster tailored to use (bud explosion) or you can use another pk booster if you so choose. The website said advanced growers can use bud explosion if you want. But the take away is if you think you need it then use it or something similar.

They said Mega crop is COMPATIBLE WITH ALL OTHER FERTILIZER COMPANIES PRODUCTS. He can use hydroplex. If you took time to read the Megacrop thread youd find that there have been MANY people who have had P,K, and in coco Mg,and Ca deficiencies. Im not going to go digging back in there just so I can do your homework for you.

I have read the post before. Some have issues some don’t. I didn’t say he couldn’t use another pk booster if he or you so wish. I simply posted what was from the website. No need to get all defensive man. I’ve ran it multiple grows and haven’t ran into issues soil or hydro. But every grower and grow room are different so are plants some feed heavier than others.

Im not being defensive, im stating what ive read in that thread. Its not a complete, one in all nutrient, because of many adding in P, and K etc. Its still better than having 5+ bottles to run for sure though. You can talk to them on that thread directly instead of their website, youll get better answers there. Sorry if I was coming of as "offensive" even though I wasnt. Just trying to get the truth out.Peace.

you should simply refrain judgement until you run it. Like I said every grow room is different I don’t talk to them on either this site or their website. I’ve read the post here and the folks that run it. Cal and mg will come up for some mainly led users. I don’t run into that issue as my well water has plenty of it. I don’t run into issues with pk either but that’s me. I’m going off of my experience.

I am running it currently but not in flower yet. I did run into Mg deficiencies but that was because the dosage was low. I simply raised it by 150 ppms and everything was golden. I do use Led. Ive been thinking about running MC alone this grow but I cant afford to experiment at this given time so I will supplement extra P,K,Mg,and Ca just to be on the safe side. Yeah Megacrop is not a universal nutrient for sure. They are updating the nutrient profile this year so there will be a new megacrop essentially. I think they will up the Mg for sure and I think they said P too.

Well good luck. I feel you not everyone has a space to experiment with stuff.

Much thanks to Lordhooha and thegermling y'all have been extremely helpful with the mega crop info. Looking forward to seeing a return to some chunky buds using mega, thanks again!

Veg+bloom dirty formula is better for bloom then megacrop for me when it comes down to final product. Megacrop is way better then Veg+ bloom in veg, maxigrow is a step under megacrop for veg but maxigrow is better then vegbloom in veg. Veg+bloom sorta sucks at vegging compared to MC and Maxigrow, you have to feed heavier then you would think with veg+bloom in veg or get weird deficiencies.

Got hooked up with a discount to try out veg+bloom ro-soft with push, shine and life, should be here just in time to use on a new table... Any tips for using the base and additives, esp push as I'm not really a foliar feeder? How does the life compare to great white, mykos and azos? What ec range do you use through flower?

Going to be interesting finishing out these last couple tables using kind while i have a couple more tables using mega and another couple tables that will be running v+b. Don't think I'll continue to try to screw with the kind with the problems and lack of yield. Pic of head band before and after trim this morning that was switched mid flower from AN to mega

Were the burnt tips from the AN or MC?

Pretty sure it was the AN since the fans started to Green back up from the issues i was seeing using an when i switched to mega mid cycle. Think that the buds would have filled out more if they hadn't struggled with the AN till mid flower but i definitely noticed WAY less larf from the table than I've been seeing using botanicare kind on other tables, seems like they just kinda stay really airy with the kind lol. Will be able to tell better this next cycle since I've gone ahead and switched 2 tables to mega, one had 2 weeks of kind and the other had 1 week of kind so should be a better comparison at harvest. Pics of switched tables below

I'm curious as to why you say that. Not doubting you - just asking.
My buds taste and smell better consistently with vegbloom compared to MC. MC buds are looser and the terps are just alittle under what VB produces i feel. I've ran a plant I've had for almost 10 years with MC two times and both times it lacked compared to VB is probably my best example I can think of. MC works great though and overall is more of a complete nutrient then VB, VB in veg is crap compared to MC.

I run nothing but veg bloom dirty in bloom and MC in veg, no extra additives, I switch day one of bloom. I tried push and didn't like it. EC range wise I feed heaviest right when I go into bloom, id say around 1.6 EC. Then I start backing off to 1.2 around 3 weeks in or when budset starts getting going good until around 2 weeks left then I just give plain water.

Are you in dirt or hydro?

i use Promix as base and mix in up to 40% FFOF depending on stage of life, thats why i use the Dirty formula of VB. I have a buddy that uses VB ro formula that i gave a few lbs of MC too but he hasnt ran it enough yet to form a opinion but he said his plants were doing great on MC so far with a harvest approaching soon.

I've had issues with MC in the past, as documented in one of the other threads on it.

Decided to give it a second go. Again, having major PH issues, but am just doing the extra work to stay on it more. It's more work, but whatever. So far so good, like last time. But I'm at about day 30 right now, and this is when I ran into the problem of it not really filling out at the end like last time. Hope that's not the case. Trying it in one of my smaller rooms anyway. The big room is cranking away with my usual nute combo

Have some pk boosters on hand with mega crop. A lot of people are seeing deficiencies related to p and k. Other than that its the best veg nutrient ive ever used.
Like their bud booster plus molasse

Adding PK boost in flower to MC ?
