Medicann (Sacramento)

I went to the Medicann clinic recently in Sacramento to get a recommendation.

The facility is essentially a "home" based business, not a retail or clinic front, if you wanted some anonymity, you should park in the parking lot of the county office building or the parking lot on the on the corner of Watt and Freedom Park and walk to the next building down the road. (house with brick trim, also has an electrical company sharing the premises)

The doctor was polite, he saw me for about 10 minutes, depression/anxiety and persistent migraines (4-6 times weekly)

I am using several grams per day to treat these conditions

the Doctor did decline to recommend any plant amounts over the state/county limits, he said it is Medicann company policy. (limits in my county are state baseline, 6 mature OR 12 immature and 1/2 pound of dried buds. while only an hour away in Oakland, the city limits are 72 plants, and up to 7 pounds of dried bud.)

this is my review of the facility/my appointment, and their policies.

more info can be found at MediCann North Highlands Medical Marijuana Doctors

Appointments and other info can be found on their site MediCann | A Prescription For Change

:blsmoke:

edit: changed the oakland statement from county to city per rezo's post

haha yeah man, I mean they dont give it to anybody but if you go in there, talk to 'em right and not act like a jackass then they'll most likely hook you up with it

yeah, I was a little disappointed in the appointment overall, I have since called around to other doc's in Sacto and it seems like medicann is a little lacking in some respects.

if you want to get a state baselimit card and dont want anything else, than its a good place to go... dont get me wrong, they do their due diligence, you will need a reason, and other prescriptions and history is usually needed to get the scrip.

other doc's in the area supposedly do a more thorough job, some even do a physical, recommend strains for your specific medical issues, and as private practices... they are open to recommending over the state baseline for mothers, clones and flowering plants also possessed all at the same time.

the doc told me that its medicann corporate policy to just issue the scrip, and let state/county limits stand. they dont want to have to defend their recommendation infront of the CA medical license board, thats what I think.

If they ask for a history at this place you might want to go somewhere else... I didn't need anything other than my ID and money at the place I went to..

I don't know that they would have asked for it, but I have some serious conditions so I asked my real Dr. to type out a synopsis of my diagnosed problems and medications I have been on, because I believed that I would need it.

for all I know he didn't, and would have written the scrip without it.
