Med Card Questions!!

[FONT=Tahoma, Calibri, Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif]im in michigan, and sometime last year november i had a boxer fracture on my right hand, and i have obvious scars on my right hand from the surgery... plates and screws in
the bone that connects from knuckle to wrist was fractured in two places...
recently i went on a snowboarding trip, and when i fell (anyone really) i went down on my hands to cushion the impact a little..
now im having some discomfort on my right hand...
i do NOT condone in using prescribed drugs and pain killers..

do u guys think i am qualified to get a med card?
obviously my surgery/rehab is in my medical records....
but i have not been taking any pain killers for the pain.

also, im in the city of troy/rochester...
can anyone drop me a PM of a good doctor around that area that can sign a med card for me?[/FONT]

from what I know and it's not everything by a long shot, I think you would qualify for chronic pain. I think the doctor needs multiple instances of the same afliction/injury causing you to seek medical attention for pain. Bottom line though, you got to drop the coin on a doctor meeting and see what he/she thinks. Theny you got to pay again if he thinks you qualify to the state. Then do the same anually....it's expensive so I hope you're also in a good financial place as well as insured.
 
Besides the discomfort, do you have any muscle spasms or tingling in your hands or fingers? Many certification centers will be able to use your surgery/ rehab records. The fact you had surgery is what's important, not the prescription history.

well i set up my appointment today and the receptionist told me all i need is 99 bucks, valid ID, and if i do have em, bring in medical history....
financially im not too worried, but why the insurance?

no spasm or tingly feeling......
it does hurt in the morning after i wake up, its not like an unbearable pain, but its discomforting
 
my girlfriend has her card for the exact same reason she broke her hand and had surgery and what not and she didnt have any issues i feel that most the places that all they do is medical certs. they'll probably give you one.. they dont get paid unless they give you a cert.
 
In my opinion, your hand, the screws, pins, past medical records certainly will qualify you for a Medical Cannabis Pt card.

alot of quick in / out certification clinics in Det, but please by pass them and find one with an actual Dr, that will see you. Many of the clinics DO have Drs that do pretty complete check ups in the process. Others you dont ever see the Dr. STAY AWAY From these.

once you get your card, your in a tough area. Troy/Rochester is Oakland county i believe. which is run by Anti Mediclan Cannabis Natzis... well maybe not 1941 Germany Natzis, but they go thru all the motions, and treat the sick and dying that use cannabis like German Natzis did the Jews in 1941.

and also, can i be my own caregiver?
as in, can i grow my own med weed instead of going to dispenceries or other care givers?
if i can... how many plants can i grow?
i know the legal weight we can posess is 2.5 ounces...
also, if i do end up over producing, how will they know?
 
yes, as a self growing Pt (not called a cg, though i feel we are a self caregiver) you can grow up to 12 plants at any given point, and hold 2.5 oz. as a self growing pt, you can NOT hold another 2.5 in reserve for yourself. you must have an assigned Pt to be considered a CG, and hold reserve for Pts only.

but its more my fast typing.... I dont worry about spelling when typing fast.... i usually try to catch my grammer errors on the re read.. guess its a good thing i didnt try to become a proof reader. lol

hahahaha the oakland nazis... well good thing im moving to macomb county.... lol
and ill be renting a town home (condo like apartments) and im kind of uneasy about the landlord coming in once a year for inspections.... if i was to grow my own meds, and lets say the LL came in for inspections, is it legal for me to have those plants in possession?
or am i gonna have to move all my shit out?
ill be renting a 2 bed room... one for grow obviously.. in a tent.

btw, they do give a 2 day notice....
i know there has been so many threads about security but they were in other states and countries.
so rules may be different..

Believe it or not, our wonderful AG gave an opinion on this very topic............ http://www.ag.state.mi.us/opinion/datafiles/2010s/op10340.htm.

I would think it would be in your best interests to keep the landlord in the dark on this one. I'm not sure of the legalities here, but as a rule the less people that know what you're doing, the better.
