"master" soil grow vortex n qrazytrain

pic time, i watered today and im flipping the lights tonight starting with a 36 hr dark period beginning at 9. found a male today, so i thought i had 5 females, now i have 3 questionable ones which are qrazy train and 3 confirmed vortex pics, i only took pics of the vortexs cuz i didnt wanna waste time on a pic of a male when some turn out to be. oh and a canopy shot, i only have 6 left of which 3 are fems, 3 unknown and they are all nice size and i think they will fill in my space nicely. also im taking clones sat and doing some trimming to shit that wont get light, any advice on how to trim you plant for max flowers with not as much small popcorny buds? or should i just let em be? oh and theyre officially 5 weeks old today and the taller one in the individual pics got a dose of lst on his 2 stretchier arms.

Almost to week 1. I tossed all the clones I took cuz they were all drooping very badly and wilting horribly at day 4. I took new ones exactly like in subs thread so I hope I get better results with them. Other than that its lookin good. Stretch is happening and these bushes are showin me how well formed and trained they are. Ill get pics up soon.

Its day 14. They have all stretched and filled up the tent nicely. This round of clones went somewhat better I at least got 1 of each vortex to root but none of the qt. I will take some cuts sat. I k ow its not good and takes longer bt I think I found a very nice qt. Its a huge bush with alot of tops. I think a early male dropped some pollen but I have em all out now so I think im good. No sign of hermies and I check throughly. Once I get a larger setup reverse aand penetrator will be in my foliar cuz ive had sone bad and not so bad cases of hermies but when u think about it what is 50$ to protect your sensi from seeds. Sure it non organic but it wont be a problem. I. May or may not depending on any sign I get from the plant.

hey its almost week 3, starts tommorow... check out these plants. the stretchier ones are vortex the squatter ones are qrazy train, i had 100% success rate on vortex clones and 0% on the qrazy train. not sure why but its probably gonna be the last time i run it , but ill def be getting more tga to cycle through. 1st and 3rd are vortex 6th is qrazy train 1 and 2.lemme know what you think.

try not doming your clones. too much humidity is no good. i clone everything in rockwool and never dome, rarerely mist. and this time of year if your ambient is good you shouldn't need a heat mat.

alots changed guys, its week 4 mid flower...wow these things are rly packin on the weight and crystals, the vortex that is. the qt is just a smaller budded plant overall at the moment. hope the beef up. the 3 stretchier ones on the right are vortex the 2 smaller ones on the left are qt. the one pic with 4 colas is the smallest but dankest qt. the individual pics are the 2 plants i will continue to grow. the taller one has such a dank ass lemon smell, just like subs lemon mango snapple lol. i though bullshit when i read that smell but scents speak for themselves. the smaller one has bigger buds and more crystals but not quite as stinky. all my qt clones didnt root but the vortex cloned easily, 100% sucess. its my 2nd time cloning so i hope my odds get better. also do the little buds with the changing hairs look like theyve been pollinated or am i being paranoid? its week 4 and i dont see any seeds forming and havent seen any hermies and i looked thouroughly, i dunno its for personals so even if some pollen escaped from a early male then ill just take the seeds out. but i think its just natural while this bunch ripens and then the next burst of flowers comes through. thanks for looking

So the thicker bid vortex hermied on me. No signs of pollen and 2 nanners found on diff buds. Imma keep a eye for more cuz this one was a keeper. Based on crystals and bud texture a for sure winner. Now I'm not so sure. At least I have my best one still all female. My best one is straight lsweet and soure lemonade funk to the max with bigger but diff textured bids that still have yet to swell. The hermies were swelling and no, not from seeds I checked. Do u think I should give it a couple days ajd check again or say once a hermie always a hermie and commit a massacre on the clones and flowering female male fucker.

Hermie from hermie is not accurate....there could be a few different variables why it hermied but if it is genetics then maybe the clones might be hermie....I wouldn't chop the hermie female they can still produce some nice smoke....I would make sure to look for pollen sacs and give her a misting of water every day......any type of moisture will render the pollen sterile...just make sure to move her somewhere away from the other plants to spray and put her in direct air so you won't get any type of powdery mildew or any kind of rot......once she dries out put her back with the bunch.....at least thats what I would do....goodluck

Yea ill finish her out. At least till it gets unmanageable with nanners. I think off my clones I'm just gonna do a 16-32 plant single lemonade pheno sog run cuz she's not giving me any probs whatsoever. Specially on the thc and stink department. I have a 4x4 so I think 16 plants veged 1 week after roots in 1.5-2 gallon pots and flipped will be the best for me cuz light penetration on 3 footers just isn't cutting it with a 600.

I could just run the questionable ones and use dutch master reverse. Does it fuck up flavor?

Never seen a nanner on Vortex close to 150 plants.

well i just took a look and couldnt find anymore, sub, pics coming your way of my 2 keepers, the hermie was stress induced if anything and will be easy to manage. its like a green night sky at day 30. im not giving either up. lemme know if either pheno looks familiar.

for starters heres my veg cabinet with all 3 phenos, my 2 dubbed keepers are in 1 gallons and my v3 is in the cup. gotta keep it around just in case ya know...

It's best to use it as a preventative at day 6 or 7 and day 16 or 17. It doesn't impart anything to the end product. No worries.

So after all the hermie shit I've found some seeds. No more than 20-30 forming so no worries still a super fine crop. Ill be cutting em down at day 57. So this Friday. Sorry for tha lack of updates and pics. Ill get some up thos week pre chop. I think wed imma remove all the fans and dry them out for qwiso for baking and give em 36 hrs of dark till fri mornong then chop chop. Ill be using dm reverse as preventative measure on every crop here on out. 40$ for no seeds but my fav smpke is worth it to me. Preemptive smoke reports are no flavor cuz not dried slow and not much taste but 1 bowl and I'm out. I dunno if I'm just tired or what bit vortex has me lookin out the windows(I haven't done that in 3-4 yrs) and then knocks my ass out
I love it. Haven't tried but 1 pheno so I hope the sweetened lemonade pheno is more sativalike. I have 6 plants 4 will go from 1 gallon to 3 gallons Friday. In the 3s imma run 100% supersoil cuz they have a good rootball in 1 gallons so I think my risk of fryin em is low. The other 2 are gonna start my experiment to try to run vortex in a sog. So it'll be 8 clones with 1-2 week veg vs 4 clones with a 4-5 week veg. I'm hoping to go perpetual and pull every 2 weeks. Also keep this on the down low. I'm getting some dannyboy bx and conquistador cuts in december. Connie for production and the danntboy cut is smelling like a truck of pineapples just hit a skunk not the legemdary cherry pheno so let's see how ot goes

Great grow, too bad bout the hermies. I got a vortex started outdoors atm. Still only small. Cant wait to see the harvest photos and smoke reports.
