Master grower couple on our way to Maine & need new friends

when u get settled down give me a shout on here, maybe hookup burn one
I'd like that. a pipe, a bong, AND a big fat blunt. I know good herb is too good for a blunt but at least it'll keep burning for 20+ minutes. nothing i've grown will stay lit in a joint. lol
wow I could use a blunt right about now :(

hoping for a few more yrs.but hey the way this rec law looks I think the mom an pops might be ok on the pricing end
You might get it, NH is going slow and looking at other states before they jump. And ME rec law is definitely made with big money for the state in mind, not to benefit the citizens directly. That will keep pricing up.

Oh, yea.. the hunting and fishing sucks in Southern Maine, compared to just about everywhere else in the state.
Unless you want turkeys, we got turkeys
man I disagree with that, the bucks down here25% bigger than up north .moose up the ass so much more food down here, have u ben to the mouth of the saco an caught stripers some of the best on the east coast

I've been looking at cheaper properties / 4 season nice camps in the NE quadrant of the state. Even one that borders state land that then borders Canada. I'd like to find a place where you can't even see the house from the road if possible. lol Black flies be damned! ( hate those things and use a big shop fan to keep them off me during their season )

yeah, i'd be very cautious moving anywhere that's recently legalized. the events on the west coast have made many of them unfriendly to new competition. many of the local established growers are out of business in a year from all the people who came out, grew pounds of shit, and flooded the market. if and when we legalize here, i'm planning on being downright hostile to anyone moving here to grow
Oh shit!!! Here comes the bad guy!!! Better stay out of his way!!!

I understand there's "lobstor rolls" or something like that up there? I'd like a bag or two of those please. I'll be a good neighbor who always has weed and jumper cables handy.. and I won't bitch about the winters either. lol

Thank you for the heads up! Yeah, that's Colorado too. the guy who hit us head on was a local younger man with delusions of granduer and couldn't bring in a decent crop to save his life. saw us as competition since we freely shared and gave herb away and began stalking us after that. It didn't work out well for him tangling with my lawyers.
I don't want to get rich, once we purchase a cheap place out in the country its just for personal use and we'll live off of my disability and whatever consulting I do for other growers. I'd be happy to put some local on the right track to be capable of doing whatever they wanted. I'm retired from everything and just can't get the F outta FL fast enough. Rain every day, Tarzan like heat and humidity, and the fishing sucks around here. lol
@Kegstand420 you should check this guy out! He could probably help you out a lot !!!

I appreciate that accurate advice! That's always the way. Most would be growers have more pride than experience and resent anyone offering help from a position of lots of experience. I feel that's most people biggest hurdle when working on their grow skills, Pride. If Rosenthal or Cervantez showed up to offer advice most growers would proclaim how well they're doing and refuse any assistance. Is pride their goal or is having the best grown herb possible their goal?? I'm looking for that new friend that knows enough to know he / she needs a hand of some sort so I can get the hell outta FL faster. If I must wait until the rest of the settlement $ comes in its likely no one will know I've hung up my lights again and that would be a shame since I have ridiculous experience to pass along to the right person / people. If you look at the thank you credits section in the front of Jorge Cervantez' bible you'll see my name listed among them.
I'm more interested in growing my own food / animals / herb in a private setting than making $, but i'm more than willing to share what I know with someone local who needs / wants the help. They can claim the praise if they like and I'll take my share back to the house and be anonymously stoned while I feed my GMO free chickens and ducks. The only hint that I grow once I arrive is that when it comes time for a smoke break with people at a bar I'll always have plenty to share for free and people will wonder where the top shelf herb came from so they could maybe get more. I'd love to be able to direct them to the person who helped me get to Maine faster. then we'll F off back to our place in the woods. lol
Wish I lived in Maine!!!

Yea, I mis spoke... York County sucks to be exact. Stripers and Turkeys are great. I just go to the river 1/4 mile and there are 30-50 lb Stripers, world class fly fishing actually. I only eat trout/salmon/cod/tuna/scallops/lobster... spoiled I guess
I don't bother to do either until I get north of the Ossipee River otherwise. Aziscohasis my secret spot, that place is hard to get to.

We're tricking out my old cargo van for camping / fishing and all. insulated with hard wood floors. Can't wait to cook up some fish @ the rivers edge!

That's the County, that's why the Amish are buying farms and old wagons and old hand tools, because they are everywhere and cheap up there.
Katahdin Woods and Baxter Park are nearby, those areas are seeing growth and someone has to supply the tourist trade. Especially for Katahdin Woods and Waters, they are going to see exponential growth in tourism for the next decade.

i hope they develop the area responsibly. i live in a tourist area and they allowed them to build way too many cabins, now they're a blight, you look out at the mountains, and you just see clumps of cabins everywhere, with other disgruntled tourists in them, looking at your cabin.......

When you find out what area your going to be living I would certainly like to get together with you and your wife if nothing else to just pick your brain and have a good smoke session I’m in a little town called Machias about 40 minutes from Canada directly on the coast less than 6,000 people younger people are much more accepting such as my self compared to some of the old timers

I've actually looked in that area for reasonable housing and found some nice prospects. Going to set up a cool country homestead that I don't need a vacation from. I am disabled from the Marines so I have lots of time to grow n do my own thing. Happy to help the right someone else do amazing things and take my cut back to the house, do awesome from scratch edibles and stay high the rest of my life. lol

if I could get 10 or 15 acres I promise it won't get split up for any development. Cabin / Barn / wood shed / fire pit / done! Some people still appreciate the land just as it is naturally.

Oakfield, Maine has a few places that caught my eye. a few places that need someone like me to fix them up again. Just looking for a nice area with lots of room and fewer people.
