Massachusetts Outdoor Grow 2019

Well I don't live in Mass...I live in "NORTHERN Maine" and since there isn't a New England forum this year so far, this is the closest. I grow outside, I started plants in doors like last year and damn if they didn't start to flower after about four weeks this year. Oh well they still went outside. I just pulled off the tops so they would grow new growth. They are looking real good so far and only time will tell but I believe they will do just fine. The plants all grew to about nine or ten feet tall last year. Made some mistakes last year with the spacing but went to ten feet between plants this year and I harvested just a tad to early but it was my first year growing in Maine so I've learned a bit. Well ta ta for now.

Interested to see some of these strains you guys are growing in northeast. Not sure many of them will come close to finishing. I’d like to recommend Blue Widow and Kali China for good genetics that will fully finish in northeast.

If you don't try you don't know...every year is different and last year I got mold in those that were suppose to me mold resistant so go figure and as far as finishing there again who really knows.

Respect. You gotta try something to know what it will be. Could have an exceptional summer this year. I’m sure you’ll see lots of good smoke for sure. Just curious to see how it all progresses with the shorter season. I’ve grown Dinachem and laughing Buddha indoor. All phenotypes of Dinachem went over 80 days from start of 12/12 but were able to get you blazed if picked a bit earlier. Laughing Buddha was just one plant and it went twelve weeks.

Btw.. the Kali china is one of the fastest plants I’ve encountered and very high quality smoke. Not too dense of bud structure and medium yield. Surprisingly sativa in effect at the beginning of high. Very clean and smooth uplifting feeling. Giggle weed. Nice meditative back end to it. Mangos, incense and violet with woody touches. Tastes like it smells. Definitely something different than what your friends have

Got the plants outside full time now ran out of room and the underside of my canopy wasnt getting enough light or air flow. Lots of lime green undergrowth. All light green growth is now getting sun burnt even though they are only getting about 3 hours of sunlight right now. Live and learn I guess.

This is more of a compost than anything else have been useing it every year the bedding and guano goes directly in the compost pile to be cooked longer.
