i feel an earthquake coming on. call me crazy but after living in california all your life you get a feel for it. it's the weather. every time a big truck goes by or i hear a loud boom i think "here it is". you often hear them first then feel the shaking. i am posting this thread to mark the time and date of my prediction. it could be tonight or it could be in 3 months, but i feel it coming.

Hopefully you dont experience any Earthquakes Fdd2blk any time soon

The only thing ive gone through is Hurricanes and about 3-4 of them hitting ous in Florida well the fourth one doesnt really count since i cant even remember what it was called but it got weak right when it touched land and became a tropical storm, the worst of the bunch was Hurricane Charley hit ous in 2004 woah, Our apartment didnt suffer much except a little leaking from our upstairs neighbors, and we were without electricty for about 1 weak and a half, i'll never forget taking those cold ass showers, but it was alright considering it was summer and it was around 90*+ every single day i didnt even like going outside because some crazy people would roam the street and it look like they were trying to loot since the cops probably wouldnt show up and it was a group of around 6 people they had flashlights and i could have sworn some of them had bats but i just stayed inside, kinda scary considering that me and my mom didnt have anything to protect our selfs with but Some of my hunting Knifes (only 2 ) since my mom doesnt like guns

fdd2blk: Thats so wierd. I had a dream last night we had an earthquake. It felt so real. I went out and filled up an extra 5 gallon jug of water and stored it next to my food rations.

Yup, I'd go along with that fdd'. I've heard that a teepee made from bamboo is earthquake proof, or is that hurricanes?

I remember learning at school that our country (england) could not get earthquakes as we have no fault lines running below us. We've had a few in the past few years.

It seems there is a relation to global warming and the frequency of earthquakes. This is also just the beginning, as each year passes 'freak' weather will become more severe and happen more often.

We have never heated up this quickly before. I'm not sure how quick and how bad gw is going to affect the human race. What I do know is that with each passing year scientists predictions as to how bad things will be are belittled.

I fear that even with our drives to lower Co2 emissions we are already too late.

Sounds like this planet is having a hard time keeping it's shit together. Something needs to happen to get rid of this virus that is human beings. The Earth has it's weapons too, antibodies if you will.

a 3 month window? hmmmm. there's multiple quakes daily along the San Andreas. i think you'll win this bet.

but actually, i moved to newport beach when i was 25. i lived in southern cali for a couple of years and never felt one shake rattle or roll.

i was looking forward to it. wondered what the earth moving would feel like. the gods conspired against me.

I remember this well Menace. It was Charley, then Francis, then Jean. Then in 05 we got hit with Wilma down here. Pretty fucked up year if you ask me. Never been through an earthquake though.
