Yeah, But until our country can become more pragmatic we're toast, we are a very diverse land w so many competing views, COMPROMISE is the only answer. People just have to understand that NOBODY is going to get everything they want. I've always said this country"s diversity is a strength that gives us our Karma as a nation. Politicians used to hammer out legislation and members of both parties knew each other and were somewhat cordial now its degraded into a WWE type of smackdown that has been turbocharged by the CHEETOMAN.ccguns

And maybe education is the fuel for compromise. Require civics in every grade and educate people on rights. People don't even understand the difference between private individuals/businesses and the gov't. They think everyone needs to support their rights while sacrificing their own to do so. Our current levels of dumb and narcissism are astounding.

I think the hyper connectivity and speed of information has whacked people out, no time to catch your breath or ponder your actions. seems like this all developed faster than humans could handle it and now the chickens have come home to roost.ccguns

Totally agree and at the same time, it's so incredibly easy to not be part of it. Literally an addiction, which maybe goes back to 9/11 with media being our destructive heroin to deal with fear and anger.

are you the guy with the bunnies in your yard? i think you said they like bread is that true? i'm going to bring some if so. that poor bunny almost made it back to it's garage..what's left of it was laying right there. covered/buried what was left including his little face. those animals know about birds and dogs which is why i don't understand why he was just sitting there.
Whether they like grass more than bread I can't say, once the snow is gone I don't feed them. But they seem to like it better than tree bark, which they would be eating here. The seem to like dried bread though.

my favorite 'bingo' for you.

now you understand that we get to know when others fart at the speed of light. but the question is 'who really wants to know'.

the assumption is we're all kardashians and give a fvck.

that's why not buying just one box of cookies upsets their little apple cart of us being their personal ATMs.

don't do the betting apps..i don't care that Jaime Foxx is promoting..whatever happened to offshore betting? now it's onshore? sky's the limit..let's drain that guys bank of the $24k..you'd think they'd lobby for the $15, just more for them.

tech has evolved faster that we and faster than we can handle..needs to be a governor on the gas pedal.

n'aww i hope the garage bunny finds the bunny over at the park, there is one there too. I'm sad it's mate is gone- i should've done something.

thank you for being a kind human; wish we had more:hug:

Concerning the "'Electronic Age" , I drive by a busstop almost every kid staring into phone like a zombie, I see empty parks and playgrounds, kids in house all day (in my youth you were outside til supper mixing it up w/other kids learning early life lessons). Now people reach young adulthood w/no people skills and little life exp, can't even make eye contact. Mid 20'snot the time to learn things that used to be learned at ages 10 to 15.ccguns

Yeah that's the 1st time I remember the annoying little scroll going on the bottom of the tv.ccguns

It also helps to not be a giant idiot that's super passionate about things people say. Had we not abandoned civics decades ago, we could be teaching people that folks can say what they want and that it's best to not giaf about it and move on with your life. As opposed to what we have today, which is the expectation that all words must be perfectly true and accurate, or else I'm entitled to whatever meltdown I see fit and any damage from said meltdown is someone else's fault. Next thing you know, people are in jail looking at a stack of felonies hollering, "IT'S NOT FAIR!!!".
How does one tell an idiot to stop being an idiot?

Unfortunately, an idiot can only learn through pain and pain means something really bad needs to happen, nationwide, or worldwide. Beyond that, you have to start with educating kids and then just try to survive the next twenty years before you start seeing the results. Any sustainable society requires maintenance. Our constitution is like a Ferrari, it's high performance and it will put a big smile on your face, but it needs a lot of work and deferring that maintenance comes with a price.

Toyota’s need maintenance too.

Word. I just mean that the constitution, bill of rights, declaration of independence, they're awesome documents. Even though I may cringe when I see a flag on someone's truck/house/clothing these days, the beauty in the founding ideas that Trump'ers fail to comprehend can still make my black heart go pitter patter, but those ideas are dead if we don't put in the effort to reinforce/understand/apply them.

The Republicans I know are beyond teaching and when something causes them pain, they blame anyone and anything EXCEPT themselves. Fortunately for this country, the millenial set don't appear to be following in their parent's footsteps politically.

All that "mixing up up w/other kids learning life lessons" didn't turn out very well. Most kids of the era you describe grew up to become attachments to Barca-loungers, eat bad food, complain about the government, watch Fox news and wear MAGA hats.

The younger generation I've come to know are focused on their little screens but they are actually doing something instead of what the Barca-lounge generation does. They live intensely social lives. What younger generation wasn't criticized by the elder for being lazy, shiftless, ignorant and different from their supposedly superior generation?

i'm just sick..one of the historical houses garages had two bunnies living there. i saw the one just sitting outside on the grass not running away as he/she normally does but nature i don't want to get too close. later that day i found it got attacked by a dog, hardly anything left i covered his face and left a foil bowl of carrots and iceberg lettuce wedge in the garage. I got permission from the owners to feed. on the way back form dog walk there is a little crack and i can see the bowl was moved.

he was a beautiful gray and white little guy.

do they suicide themselves? it's spring and I know those from that family eat their young but does that extend to bunnies?

calling all bunny experts @Jimdamick and which Canadian feeds his two outdoor @Sir Napsalot? what happened here?

i just knew he needed help but i wanted to respect the nature and i feel like shit now.
Yea, animals will kill themselves out of remorse for losing a companion
I had 2 prairie dogs once a long time ago, Lewis & Clark were their names (Lewis was fucking vicious, Clark would sit on my shoulder & lick my ear :) )
Anyway, Clark died & Lewis essentially starved himself to death
He just stopped eating
He died a month later
Tragic
