Manafort trial predictions

Defense snuck in a comment that the trial was politically motivated. Judge asked jury to disregard. We will see. Manafort will be tried in federal court next, maybe that will be the Russia connection?
2 years later a Republican controlled Senate Committee confirmed the “Russia connection”

I wasn’t surprised, were you?

I have no skin in the outcome. Just curious if identity politics has corrupted this trial. If the eyes of justice are blind, odds are very good he is convicted. I think his only chance of escaping conviction is the political argument. Do you think Hillary or Trump could be convicted of anything by a politically diverse jury? I don't. Just like if I'm on a jury for some dude being prosecuted for growing weed, the dude is getting off. So it goes.
I heard that a planeload of thugs dressed in black was seen headed toward the jury room.

Remember when Trump was impeached for Russian collusion? Me neither.
Interesting argument you have there. Because trump wasn’t impeached for it, it didn’t happen?

Good point though. There are many other things he should be impeached for, with the list growing daily.

Is that what you meant?

We were told for nearly 3 years he would be impeached for collusion. If dems had the goods, it would have happened.

No, will the conclusions change if I do? If I read it all will he be impeached for collusion?
You do understand that Trump did get impeached (and not removed) for obstruction of congress? Something that even Republicans had to admit the Democrats proved the case against Trump.

Trump has been hiding behind Executive Privilege since he got caught.

And until Trump is out of office, his privilege to have information redacted and kept out of the public eye (illegally) and a AG that won't do shit about the laws Trump is breaking as POTUS, we won't know what we don't know.

But luckily we know a lot now that we didn't in 2016 when McConnell put Trump over our nation.

I understand that, but that is not what I was discussing. Remind me again which Republican congressmen or women voted for impeachment?

Is there a reason to dismiss the senate Republicans for your very specific troll?

Are you pretending that somehow the only Republican in the house who did vote against Trump was kicked out of the Republican party?
