hey guys just wondering if u could help me out with these pics! i believe it is female but just want to confirm with the experts! this one is the most mature out of my few plants and very healthy. and the rest all seem to be female too but are alot less mature but all planted at the same time and have prob been stressed and stunted. there is one that is quite large but looks to be male i was wondering if i could leave it with the females until flowering or is there a chance that it could cross polinate?View attachment 2423970View attachment 2423971View attachment 2423972

I don't see any preflowers myself. I see new growth and stipules. A little higher up on the plant may bring more discoveries. Best of luck.

And if it turns out to be male, you will want it away from the females in short order, unless you are trying to make seeds. Doesn't take long for those balls to start bursting.

U r looking for a pear shaped calyx with two white hairs comming out the top. A male is a ball on a stick look

thanks guys and that pic from rake is a great guide and ive looked at before but i just thought since it is such early stage that somone with lots of experience may be able to give me a guess (thanks diesel) but you have all been a great help! i will def post more pics as i progress, this one is growing like nothing i have ever seen it is getting big fan leaves every 3 days since i changed humidity, temp, nutes, watering, and light hieght i also flushed the soil two days in a row and bought an electronic water thingy that tells me when to water and a soil ph meter otherwise i would have been matching up colours of the cheap soil ph everyday untill i blew my brains out because my eyes are always fucked from the hps bulb i see blue when its really red lol, and this way i can just watch the dial go up and down. had a look at the top and saw two big pear shaped pistels coming out the top with whitish tips but may be brand new retarded leaves.

when you mean pear shaped do you mean a whole circular pear shape or do you mean a flat pear shape more like a flat leaf. ( ) or )

i can see what you mean in the photos but its just not what i have they seem quite thin and flat not round and thin if u get what i mean its kinda a hard thing to describe lol

thanks again!

I'll take a pic of a few preflowers and early preflowers from my plant soon to give you an idea.

EDIT: lol, flat battery's. Oh well.

Also, don't mistake a green hair looking thing as a female. It looks like a pistil to the untrained eye, but is slightly green on the other side.
Pistils are white or pinkish. they're never greenish.

Male preflowers can be deceiving if you're not experienced with female preflowers.

If you look at the preflower on the right in this picture it might look like a pistil coming out
when it's smaller but it is just a male.

In pic 9 i can see what appears so be a hair behind what's left of the stipule. Check that area.
As well as pic 2 on the left side of the node there looks like a tiny hair like growth. Check that too.

I can't see any pistils on the full body preflower shots you took yet.

If it looks like this then it is a female preflower:

If they're male you can't do anything with them other than smoke the leaves for a little
bit of a high. or look into some hash making. You feel like you've had a small bowl if you smoke a bunch.
Some people do it to test how potent a potential father plant is going to be.

None of those photos have any preflowers in them. You aren't mistaking the new branch for a preflower are you?

You had pics of your preflowers in the other photos.

Not all will be male. Get rid of all male unless you breed pointless. Cloning a male will get you a male. You need to go to Google and search on growing mj and read everything you find. These are questions you should no the answer to before you start growing. Starting then asking everyone questions about Every detail. Were growing for you. I like helping when I can but sometimes the lack of knowledge ppl have before they jump in baffles me...
