LSD has done so many things to my mind. It's not easy to explain with words, and I'm sure most of you who have eaten lots of acid like myself will agree with that. Sometimes it'll take me on a mellow trip so all I have to do is follow along as it shows me the way. Other times I'll feel like a kid again, being amazed by all the little things that are happening around me, exploring the world and my mind as if they were new. But occasionally I'll be put in a place where I can see my whole life as it is. I'll be reminded of the things that only I know, the skeletons in the closet. When you've got 1000mics of LSD in your body, there are no walls in your mind. You can feel every little everything. Playing an instrument on acid is incredible. Feeling sounds in your hands. Pouring your soul out. Seeing how what you're playing affects others in the room. It's beautiful. I'm pretty sure that none of what I just said makes sense, but like I said, it ain't easy to explain in words.

I have never done acid because of this reason :)

Every time you injest acid into your body, the chemicals fuck your brain up.... which ends up changing your personality, if you get a bad "strip" you're going to die from it or be a retard for the rest of your life.

There is one good thing about acid tho.
I think it is here in canada, they give Heroin adicts a mm strip of acid so it effects them but not to the extremly fucked up point... this changes there thought's and they relize why the fuck am i doing heroin?!?!?!!? that is one method used by them.

what you said does make sense, your mind is tripping and will be for the rest of your life lol
when you hear the same music you've played on acid, when you hear it in the future you will most likley have acid flashbacks... i use to work with this old chick who did acid for a year straight... she cant lisen to certain types of music or she will trip the fuck out lol.

I've never heard of lethal strips of acid, that's just people talkin' shit. A single hit of acid ranges from like 100-250 micrograms. Thats .1-.25 milligrams. You're not gonna die from anything at that low of a dose. So if you ate 5 hits (a very strong trip) of good quality acid, thats still at most 1.25milligrams. LSD is not for the weak minded though so if you can't handle it, don't do it. I don't think acid would make me stop doing heroin if I was a junkie either. And tripping for a year straight is the dumbest shit I've ever heard, what did that old bitch think was gonna happen? lol

You can't die from any dose, just trip a long long time. It's definitely not for the weak minded, and it's not something to mess with when you're not comfortable with yourself and your current place in life otherwise you might get stuck in some negative thought loops and constantly worry about whatever you were worrying about but it's 100x worse because you're tripping.

I've never had a flashback from listening to the music I was listening to tripping, usually I can just recall what I was doing when I heard a certain song when I was tripping.

LSD is more safe than you think, very few things are effective in the dose LSD is which makes it very hard to put some drug other than LSD on blotter sheets, as for geltabs and liquid it could be a lot of different things not necessarily LSD.

I like playing with astrojax while tripping, you can see them at astrojax they're balls on a string with the two end balls fixed, the middle one slides freely and they have high intensity strobing blue LEDs, and they'll make you cream your pants while tripping.

I dunno if I would trust liquid, too hard to tell how much you are getting. Geltabs in my experience are about the same size as blotter. Unless you are getting really small blotter maybe? 1 hit of either looks like this [].
I used to have hardwood floors and I'd turn all the lights off except for a black light. Then me and the other trippers (usually alot, I was hosting lots of tripping parties at the time) would break glow sticks and throw the glowing shit all over the walls, ceiling, floor, etc. It was fucking amazing.

like video said, acid is fine. everyone who is emotionally capable should try it.

when i was a high school kid sometimes we used to camp out in the woods to trip. we would set up the camp, get firewood, make everything ready and then dose at 8 or 9. those were some of the most amazing nights of my life!

once it got dark the flashlight became a window into another universe; ordinary weeds became extraordinary expressions of life, limbs in the tall trees were like twisted staircases leading to somewhere unfathomable, the sound of the wind was like applause from a crowd, the way noises from animals shattered the still quiet of our fire side conversations was awe inspiring.

oh, and you should have been there the night i left my can of chef boyardee ravioli in the fire too long! now that took wtf to a whole new level! lol

The best sid i've ever done was liquid acid that my buddy dripped onto three sides of a sugar cube for me. I took it probably my 10th or 11th grade year in school (so about 5 years or something ago) and it kicked in during one of my study halls. I started having a bad trip being stuck in school so I left and the second I stepped outside and felt the waves of warmth from the sun the rest of my trip was excellent.

Yep, setting has a ton to do with how well your trip goes, I made the mistake once of dosing about 7 hours before I had to work a ten hour shift, talk about stupid, I was ready to gouge my eyes out with a spoon to get out of there.

Also, for first time trippers you want to do it in a controlled environment with close friends, strangers may make you feel awkward and think negative thoughts. Also being in public places can be very daunting your first time tripping.

Almost everything herein is true...

LSD cant kill you. correct.

But you can be brain dead for the rest of your life if you eat a shitload of it. that is another form of death. BRAIN death. so don't think you're that safe.

i've tried my acid too, it's definitly not for everyone. Settings, state of mind, everything matters, and muu i understand everything you speak of.

REMEBER!
ALWAYS EDUCATE YOURSELF BEFORE TRYING THINGS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!

Want a trip? Go to a museum or zoo! Hallucinogens like LSD and PCP can change the chemistry in your brain! And you might do things that you would never dream of doing in an unaltered state of mind.
The reason the drugs are named hallucinogens is because they distort how people perceive reality. We all know the names of the most well-known hallucinogens-- PCP (also known as phencyclidine); angel dust, or loveboat; LSD (also called lysergic acid diethylamide or acid); mescaline and peyote; and psilocybin, or "magic" mushrooms. Under the influence of hallucinogens, you can lose your sense of direction, distance, and time. The effects of LSD are unpredictable. Users report feeling several different emotions at once or swinging rapidly from one emotion to another. The drugs can even produce delusions and visual hallucinations. Some people who take LSD report experiencing severe, terrifying thoughts and feelings, fear of losing control, fear of insanity and death, and despair. It's no accident that some people have died while under the influence of LSD. If you want to change your mind, read a book, go to a movie, or talk with a friend. For more info on hallucinogens check out this link

i copyed and pasted this. LSD is stupid, your a differnt person from the first time you use it, Shrooms and LSD are very differnt also, LSD change's chemicals in your brain while shrooms Effect you stomach and spinal cord, when the fungi in shrooms is injested into your system it heads straight for the spinal cord, once its there it attack its which gives use these "hallucinogens" trips. You cannot die from shrooms but it is very possible to die from LSD and a even higher risk of becoming a brain dead retard. Yes agreed it is not for the weak minded and these effects only effect a number of people, not evenone reacts the same to eny drug.
Think twice before you think you cannot die from it.

Hallucinogens affect your brain. Hallucinogens change the way the brain interprets time, reality, and the environment around you. They also affect the way you move, react to situations, think, hear, and see. This may make you think that you're hearing voices, seeing images, and feeling things that don't exist.
Hallucinogens affect your heart. The use of hallucinogens leads to an increase in heart rate and blood pressure. Hallucinogens can put you in a coma. They can also cause heart and lung failure.
Hallucinogens affect your well-being. The use of hallucinogens may change the way you feel emotionally. They may cause you to feel confused, suspicious, and disoriented. Many PCP users are brought to emergency rooms because of PCP overdose or its disturbing psychological effects, including delusions and paranoia.1
Hallucinogens affect your self-control. The effect of hallucinogens varies from time to time and person to person, so there is no way to know how much self-control you might maintain. They can cause you to mix up your speech, lose control of your muscles, make meaningless movements, and act in irrational, aggressive, or violent ways.

I've never heard of lethal strips of acid, that's just people talkin' shit.
There actually dud's strips not made correctly, when injested these "duds" will cause you the most harm, which most likley ends up in being a retard for the rest of your life, or even death.

Q. Do hallucinogens have long-term effects?
A. Yes. In addition to flashbacks, long-term effects may include decreased motivation, prolonged depression, anxiety, increased delusions and panic, and psychosis.
Q. Can I predict if I will have a "bad trip"?
A. There is no way to predict a “bad trip.” There is no consistency in hallucinogenic drugs, so each “trip” may differ depending on the drug’s strength and purity. The psychological effects of the hallucinogen also depend on the user's frame of mind

The people who go "retarded" or insane from eating LSD already had mental problems to begin with. Studies on acid have shown that it doesn't cause mental problems with normal people, but it can bring out latent or pre-existing problems and make them more severe.

Correct, people with a family history of mental disorder shouldn't take LSD, it can bring out latent mental disorders, but an important thing to note is the mental disorder would've been expressed at some point, although likely not as soon.

» Can LSD make you insane?
There is evidence that underlying mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, can be 'activated' by LSD use. Therefore people with any history of mental illness should avoid LSD.

However, when used clinically in the 60's, psychatrist Dr Sidney Cohen surveyed a sample of 5000 individuals who had taken LSD twenty-five thousand times. He found and average of 1.8 psychotic episodes per thousand ingestions, 1.2 attempted suicides, and 0.4 completed suicides. 'Considering the enormous scope of the psychic responses it induces,' he concluded, 'LSD is an astonishingly safe drug.'"

Also, meth can be added to lsd in liquid and geltabs but not on blotter, lsd doses are in the order of 50-150 micrograms per 1cm x 1cm paper hit, a dose of meth is around 15mg, that's 100 times the max amount most people will find on blotter paper, and also blotter paper is made so that it only holds so much, they don't put a drop of lsd over each hit, they dissolve the lsd crystals into the purest alcohol they can find and then dip the blotter sheet into it, pull it out and let it dry after they get the excess off.

But be wary of geltabs and liquid, I wouldn't recommend putting the drops in your eyes these days unless you've got a reputable source, but if you do good lord...be prepared.

i put a square in my eye once. it was very uncomfortable at first but as it became saturated with tears it was not even noticeable (i am a contact wearer anyway). i had forgotten until the next morning when it came out like a mega-eye-booger.

it's hard to say, i did 3 on the tongue at the same time and this was very high quality stuff.

it was definitely one of the most intense trips i ever had. not just visual but everything about it was hella strong.

strangers piss me off when I'm tripping, and I always get anxious about them thinking I'm being a arrogant prick or something, when really I don't want to talk to a complete stranger when I'm trippin' balls.

When I took acid my first time it was the night before I had a to catch a flight with my mom at 4:00am, at Yonder Mountain String Band show, so I took it at 5:00pm and enjoyed the show and came home. And I knew it was going to last a long time, but I thought I would be fine by 4:00am, but not the case. At 3:30am I was just chilling in my shower amazed at how beautiful water droplets on the glass looked. I ended up still tripping when I got on the flight. That was by far my longest trip though. It was actually really cool watching us take off while tripping, even though I thought the plane was going to crash for sure. After that I fell asleep and slept through the whole plane ride and was fine when I woke up.
