In what ways did they fail to meet your expectations? Were they not as potent, not as high yielding, not as early, etc. as you hoped? What was your outdoor harvest date? I'm also an MA outdoor grower and I got the PBH seeds hoping to get an early, potent harvest.
Late response,working now no time,laid off and more active in winter, I harvest late Sept/early Oct in Bristol county. I grew out PBH, FrostBerry,and Laughing Lion. My second Herijuana experience as I tried Omuerta Herijuana F5 yrs ago,I didn't say they sucked but wasn't impressed either,didn't stand out for potency or appeal. Started 5 R seeds got 3 F's,still have 1/2 pk,All I can say is run it,I'm near the big 60 and have done this for 40 yrs BUT I'm no grow snob maybe different hands/techniques will give results you want,but no Lucky 13's are in my 12 strain grow this yr. though I considered L Lion again Chemdog/LA Confidential.I'm a sucker for Chem crosses. Sorry for the late reply. I did start some seeds of PBH and have 8 seedlings now. They seem more sensitive to nutrients/pH than other strains I've grown, but maybe that's because they're an inbred line. Was that your experience as well? And as for potency (and yield), would you say they were middle of the pack or below average compared to the other strains you grew?
I did a seed run with their Skunk #1 and grew out a bunch of the progeny. Found some nice phenotypes but nothing even vaguely skunky.

I can't offer up a pos/neg opinion, I grow so many strains and don't smoke a ton, I had a few PM issues also (rare for me) that MAY have contributed,not only that I had THREE plants and there are so many pheno's that I'd to be fair have to grow maybe 25 plants to REALLY dismiss the strain as crap which is why I do many strains. Because I grow outside my genetics go away every season, to a indoor grower 1 winner pheno can be kept going for years so it's all about perspective. Nowadays polyhybrids are crossed w/polyhybrids and the pheno potential is infinite IMO, who knows or can really verify heritage these days, I mean we're not buying from Burpee who have acres of testing fields. L13 seems like a decent family run Canadian small co. so give it a go, I get a kick out of people who used to buy single seeds and be rip-shit when things don't pan out. Good luck

You have to grow regular seed from Lucky13. That's just about all they sell.

I have a few Mangos from space going outdoors right now, one of them is severely fasciated, the main stem is flat from bottom to top. they are growing columnar with very little side branching, and don't look like they are going to be good producers.You have to grow regular seed from Lucky13. There was an old school history to a lot of the genetics but they are moving towards newer poly crosses and the old school is disappearing. The old school version tended to be big plants. I'm in the process of growing out some of the newer strains now. I've got enough old school seed in the fridge to last me a long time.
This season I'm growing some UBC Chemo/ Romulan which never got topped. They are becoming big plants already. 2 seeds planted. 2 seeds growing. This was a special release which are no longer available. Translation: I expect there are problems in some situations. So far they are growing skunky, wide and big for me. I'm looking forward to much later in the season

The back story for Lucky13 is the Professor suffered from Crones and grew to feel better. What I care about is I've always gotten good plants when I grow them.
One lady I used to grow for was going through cancer treatments. The Pineapple Express from Lucky13 was her go to for nausea and appetite.
The 2 plants below and on the right are something Lucky13 calls Mangoes from Space. Again, a one time shot. The strain is interesting to me because Purple Satellite (Ace) is part of the mix. 2 seeds popped, 2 plants. Hopefully she's that's are short season sativas. The plant on the far left is a Nepal from Real Seed Co.

I expect some of the old school strains won't be available soon. Many strains are "low stock" and if you try to buy them they are not available. Whether you like the old or not it is disappearing from Lucky13. Hopefully the PBH hangs around. Growers like it. The Romulan and Granddaddy Purple are other strains that people like.
Keep an update on those Sk1 seeds. Ive been wanting those for more than a year, and have also seen no grow/smoke reports on them. I do have a couple packs of the Y2K.
The 85 Sk1 are all super super sweet hey, none of the ones I popped have any skunk to them at all. The Y2K is definitely super Skunk but is also on the sweeter side too but a lot more dank!
Skunk was never in Sk1 anyway. Fools errand to try and find Skunk, in Skunk #1. Im mainly interested to know if the Skunk 1 is potent, or not. Claims 22%.
Yeah I tend to agree, I've never found anything really skunky in skunk 1 either. Truth will be in the smoke of the Y2K though. They definitely have that super Skunk profile though, nice and solid too! Hopefully they smoke as well as they look!
