Hey guys,
I am in my 6th week of veg under 1500w of MH, over 15x 5gal pots..I transplanted them about 5 days ago, and roots are already shooting through the bottom. I am contemplating on flipping them over next week(week 7) to flowering.
However, my question, I was doing some heavy LST by the 5th leaf node right after topping, now, every plant has 4-8 thick branches that also have a BUNCH of side shoots popping out. Now, the branches are laid down flat across the pot, rotated clockwise to use up all of the space..the actual tops are probably 2"-4" high(yes, 6 weeks veg) with some of the new side shoots shooting up to as high as 10" high(from soil). I'm pretty confused, am I suppose to continue to tie down the branches? Even without much room? The pot is completely circled, and the side shoots are sky rocketing, I am pretty confused if I have to tie down shoots for the MAIN tops/branches to catch back up and become the main tops? Cause as of right now, I "think" if I flower with my shoots at 10" high and my tops that were originally the point of LST, are 3" high, would cost me yield and be counter-productive to the training? Or should I tie shoots, wait for the tops to reach 10-12" high and flower? My plants are just bushed out incredibly and looking for a spot to tie the shoots is getting pretty hard.
Any help is appreciated, thanks guys!(and gals)
