LST Question?Anyone untie?

I veg in 1g pots then transplant into 3 or 5g pots a week before switching 12/12.Should i tie down again?Do i untie few weeks into flower?

I really dont want to experiment with anything.Just want to do it right, keep tied through out whole grow or do you LSTrs untie at some point in flower?

I tie em down until the stems harden, then about 2 weeks into flower I untie them all, give it a week and retie what I think needs to be pulled back down. Here's a couple pics, you can see where the old tie downs were from the thick branches, and the new tie downs on the colas that take off too much. I find it works really well, to pull everything out and put it back in, that way I get as much control as possible. I even tie branches together and such, I've been using that foam covered wire, and it wors wonders, especially if you have colas that are falling, you can wrap them lightly like you would a bonsai and keep them just where you want them.

after awhile the stems will harden and pretty much will stay bent. you may have to retie in a different spot to help train new growth.

i have left ties on for too long before and the stem will start to grow around the string. so once the tie is not needed in that spot anymore, remove it.
