lowryder 2 under 540watts t5 hydro

I think its to late to seed. Some of mine are just starting to get different sizes. I don't seem to have any runts yet though. That big one is pretty nice and if you have even a week left they will even get bigger. I really can't wait to see how much you get. what kind of lighting? I can't wait for a couple weeks to go by. I think i might do a trial setup like that next. If I don't average a half ounce dry off these LR2s i won't grow again. Man I have no idea what to expect. Keep posting pics until the end. Seeya

Those stunted roots are prob just a fluke. I'll prob get some like that too. Some plants just grow strange. Or it got lightly damaged at seedling stage

I have heard that they have some genetic defects on these autoflowering, dunno.... all I know is that they all looked like yours until the second week.... except for the runt that cracked a couple weeks later. That big one looked like they others a day ago... that coner pretty much doubled in thickness over night. It does seem strange that there is such a variance in size though.

-They have been under a 400w MH for the whole cycle, 20/4 we just switched to 18/6 tonight.
-Quick Grow nutes, its a 3 part mix, went straight to flowering nutes after the first flowers showed.
-Used holland secret bud boom 0-40-23. and Bud Boom folier spray. We also spray with pure carbonated water for a little boost...... no co2 system.
-Its ebb and flo, 6 floods per day now (worked up from 3)
PH is 5.5 we have let is climb to 6.7 now because we are going to flush soon and not ph adjust for that.

It seemed to work alright, it was my first LR grow so I am anxious to see.

Yah i don't like worrying about runts but we'll both find out. I'm glad you said they fill out fast. I am more worried about yield now reading about these. i don't think there perfected yet. Good luck to us though. Keep me posted. If they all turned ot like your big one that would be amazing.

Yah post some pics. Theres prob a decent amount of bud on there by now. I've been researching LR2 like crazy and have heard bad things about yield. I heard this church strain is great. Might try it if I'm dissapointed. Actually I might stop with the autoflowers because my other plants which were topped like 50 times(mother plants for awhile) and when flowered gained no height at all. Its the large plants in my pics. Theyve been flowering for 3 weeks or so with no height growth. The buds are getting big though. I just got the bloom formula today so I'm gonna use it. Looks like I should get 2 ounces dry off each. Every day the buds are nearly double in size. The LR2 grow so fast I would need pics every 4 hours to show you guys. I've started to set up the lights but I didn't want my mom to here me so hopefully shell go out any minute. Today the lady at the hydro store gave me 4 t5h0 fixtures with 54watt bulbs for 100 canadian. Not bad at all. Petsmart charges like 25 for just the bulb. Mind you these fixtures that i use are the cheapest out there. Sunblaster brand. Check them out if you want the smallest t5 fixture out there for dirt cheap. have to make your own reflector though. I've already made mine and it came out perfect. Post those ak47 pics soon as you can. seeya

Heres some new pics. I added nutes since they sprouted and there growing off the chain!!! But the pic of the one leaf almost looks a little burned and dry. Its definately not burn from lighting. Do you guys think I should have waited on nutes? i heard these barely need any after i alrady filled tub. hopefully i'll just top it off tomorrow with fresh water and it will solve itself. They all still look amazing. i put the new lights in but there just resting on shelves for now because of the family being home. they are at 250 watts now. i added a t8 fixture just for extra until next week when i can buy 4 fixtures with 3000k bulbs. This should supply them untill i get paid next week. I figure they couldn't possibly grow any faster or bushier than this anyways so 500 watts might be a waste for another week or 2. Here they are. I'm going to post pics of the hempstars in about 5 days. they should be huge.

I can't believe more bad luck with my lowryder plants. After the water problem and having salvaged one nice plant in the hydro system, I looked today, which is about day 30. and I see little round things growing in the nodes, looks like male. The one in soil looks like a male too. not sure I just odered a new hydroponic system, so I'll probably have to start fresh soon. I'm keeping them for the time being, just to be sure.

3-4 weeks left !!!

Here are 2 more pics, we started Double Flush today, hope its not premature but I really don't want to be late on that, they look like they are going to be ready in the next couple weeks. Anyone have any suggestions?? I can always throw the nutes back on for a couple days.

-Tricomes looked swollen, all clear
-Hairs are starting to turn read
-Tommorrow is week 7

Is this the right time to flush? I was going to flush for 5 days then water only till harvest.

I am still puzzled by the wide variety and sizes of these plants..... the one in the center has looked healthy since birth but is maybe 10" tall.... it is a true lowryder!

Damn. All our pics on here look amazing. And we'll al have some bud within a few weeks of eachother. To me amcs ak47 auto looks like it may yield more than ours. maybe i'll try them next. If my LR grow different sizes like yours i'm screwed. I'm using t5 and some plants would be a foot from the light. Mine are on day 11 and are still fairly uniform but a couple are kinda aking over. Everyones LR seems to grow like this. wannabe if you get some hermies make sure you don't make seeds from them. Don't take any chances with the hermies. throw them out. Maybe post some pics of the balls. I think mitsu that you should start flushing but i definately think those plants need at least another week. Many people who didn't sound like idiots said that the final 10 days can add about 10% more weight. I think your plant has more budding to do. You should post some pics daily till your done. Same with the ak47 plants. I'm going to set up my hanging lights now that no one is home. Be back soon

K guys here are some nugget photo's... i found a macro setting on my cam.... it took nice photos... so do they look ready to flush?

Damn those are nice pics. My camera is a high quality video camera with still so i just use it but it won't take pics like that. They look ready to flush to me but not to harvest. def at least another week. you don't want to be early. Heres my finished lighting with 4 bulbs so far. 4 more in between next week. 3000k bulbs next. It came out clean. Do you think I burned that one plant?

Just looked at my pics. Some don't look bright while the cabinet with the door shut shows the brightness. I wouldn't exagerate. These t5s are as bright as my 400 watt mh. My mh s a high bay industrial one though converted to a seperate bulb ballast but still.

It could be burnt... I would cut the bad part off. Not sure what it is though.

If you think i should cut it off i'm going to. I was thinking that myself. I thought that leaf might come back but its pretty dry. It still looks healthy other than that. I have been reading more and more about autos and now have no idea what to expect. Joint doctor says that in hydro these can yield 45 grams each but i don't think so. I'm going for the 14 grams dry each and anything more is extra. I prob won't be dissapointed this way. I did do one grow though where i got a few 7 gram plants and was pissed. Do you guys think that seedbanks grow alot of plants and then just pollinate them all and sell the seeds or do you think they use the 2 strongest plants out of a bunch? I was thinking about breeding just the 2 nicest plants? Do you think this would improve the seeds? LR2 is supposedly bred 6 times to stabilize it so mine would be seven. Maybe more stable? What do you think?

Oh yah i was able to get a crazy digital camera. Its one of these 12 mp slr's. I'm going to have to get some close ups. If the pic format doesn't work when i upload though i don't really know how to do any of that converting. I'll try tomorrow. I wish i new more about computers in a way. I want some pics like those closeups before these get chopped for sure. Are there any other canadians on here?

My plants are doing good. little bigger. you can guess. i read some forums about trimming during flowering and decided to trim the hempstar down a decent bit to let light into the inner area. they look alot less bushy and alot more buddy. Started them on bloom also. They are swelling up daily. tomorrow i'll post some nice pics hopefully with the new camera. those close up pics are crazy on here. thats alot of detail. i think some of the bigger LR plants might start showing any day now. the nodes are getting branching between them. they are all within 2 to 5 inches tall and bushy. I also found that 54 watts of t8 with 420 actinic blue aquarium bulbs outgrew the single 54 watt t5 tube in 6500k. the plants under t8 are all bigger than the plants under the t5 of same wattage but dif colour. But my t5s don't have the reflector on yet. i switched the lights and they evened out. i may buy some actinics for 2 t5 fixtures. but there 30 bucks each bulb. no placebo here. watt for watt it beat 6500k noticeably on every plant. I also added a 45 watt warm cfl to the bottom centre area for extra light inside. If i get 3 grams extra than worth it. I am really getting into the hempstar plants. They really look like they could be huge. if they get 4 more weeks they'll be massive buds. They seem to nearly double every day without slowing down. i tied them down like crazy after trimming and lowered the lights. the small one that was in the corner of all my pics is getting huge nugs on it. I am really hoping for maybe 2 ounces each. 6 ounces would last me along time and let me do some experiment with diff strains. well good luck i'm just writing to keep track.

just putting pics of the plants. growing pretty fast. still under 5 inches tall basically. they are wider than they are tall which i like. Damn just realised that this is day 13 already. only fifty more to go roughly. They look like they could show sex anytime. hopefully all females with just one male. i want tons of seeds but the bud too. I don't expect more than 5. Its been enough hours everyone update their pics on here.
