Lowryder #2 ScrOG

Day 42, looking good lots of flowering tops smelling good. Some nugs hidden amongst the leaves are about 1 inch thick and the calyxes haven't begun to swell at all yet, looking at a dry weight harvest of 3.5-4 oz, tho there are still lots of new flowers being produced.
Bloody nute burned em tho didn't I!! Idiot, I've been giving them 3ml/l bio bloom for the last 3 weeks or so and they've been getting thirsty so I started using a big watering can. I didn't work out the amount of bio bloom to put in properly (stoned) and realised yesterday I've been giving them 6ml/l.
There's nute burn on about 6 of the bud tops and you can see the 'shock wave' of yellow in some new growth.
The burn was the first thing that alerted me to my bumble, given them lots of water and new growth is now normal. Shouldn't effect the yield, the small amount of damage seems to be limited to buds that had stopped producing new flowers.

Yo soz there hasn't been any updates, my usb cable is fucked.
All is looking good tho, harvest on mon, tues or wed.

Great grow TheLog, I really like the SCroG. Could you give some more details ? thinking about trying some lowryder too.

with how many days did they show sex ?
how long did they take to grow from seed to harvest ? 70 days ?
how much did you get per plant ?
height ?
 
was reading along through your journal and this scrog has really done justice for ur babies! lookin really good homie, subd!

Day 65, there's some crazy colour changes, it's like autumn is Massachusetts.
I've already cut off about a quarter (desperate) really nice smoke, quite fuelly in flavour.
It fucking stinks, glad I got a charcoal filter.
Will crop in about 5 days I think.

Yo lince. I know lowryder types get a lot of shit for low yield etc. but how else can you get a decent smoke in 60 odd days??
I reckon they will yield 3.5-4.5oz. Doesn't sound like mych for 4 plants, but consider the time scale and the grow area (0.32 sq metres) - if I get 4 oz thats 350g/sq metre in 9 weeks.
They are feminised and showed sex at 21-23 days, they are on their 66th day, harvest at 70/71 days I reckon.
Height - the scrog screen is at 8" above the soil, the tallest buds are about 8" tall so 16" overall.
I'll update at harvest time and afterwards with smoke/yeild report.

Hi TheLog,

Totally agree with you man, I've got no problem with a plant giving 1oz of yield, I was just asking coz I wanted to have some info about it. I've been doing some research in small plants and it seems that they all yield around 1 oz. I'll be really happy if I get 0.7 ounce (20g) per plant :)

How else to get a decent smoke in 60 days ? well, apart from trying lowryder, I'm gonna try 12/12 from seed with a couple of plants and clones. It looks good and is a good choice for small spaces :)

re:easyryder - seems to get dissed on quite a few grow sites, all saying 'good yeild, crap smoke', dieselryder seems to get 'lower yeild, amazing buds'.

plants look very nice. my lr#1's turned that purple redish color in the bud fan leaves jsut like yours. it may help to let it go a little past 70 days. i let mine go about a week after the date the company said and it was worth it. i'm starting nirvana's auto northern lights femm in 2 or 3 days.

Thanks a ton bro. Now i'm pretty sure i'm not getting the easyrider. What i'm looking for exactly, is very cheap in price, indica dominant (so i can keep it short) and one that yields a lot of good smoke...

Any Suggestions? (prefer attitude seedbank!!)

EDIT: I looked at the lowrider #2 from attitude. Those are cheaper than the easyrider ones. hrm...

Lowryder 2 is good, good yield if u lst + scrog it. It's got a good rep too, any haters just moan about yield as with any autoflower. I've just got lowlife's auto Hindu kush, looks good. Lowlife's ak47 and white Russian are supposed to be good too.
