As long as its the big fan leaves dying and not the bud you should be OK. My best yielder had dying leaves towards the end, they looked more diseased than yellowing tho. But my plant still did good!
hey, thanks for the positive attitude, it makes me feel better. It also makes me feel good that the trichs went from 10% cloudy to almost all cloudy in 2 days.

The baby is all cloudy with some starting to amber on the trim leaves. The second tallest is about as far along as the biggest one also.

So if I can get one more week out of em before they die, I'll be pleased.

I think you should be fine even if all the fan leaves die. There are still leaves on the buds which still absorb the light, just as the fan leaves do. So they will still finish with out fan leaves. But if all your leaves on your buds are dying i would be worried.

Yea and my Snowryders are doing the same thing all the sudden not really sure what it is but its not happening on my youngest one.

Oh the miscalculations of a new grower haha. I thought they would be done very soon but, that was because I didn't realize there is a spectrum of cloudiness and not a discrete category. The trichomes are looking more cloudy than before, and not much in the way of amber.

So that is good news because it means more bud development! The littlest one's cola has since poofed out in a few directions.
Also good news is that they aren't looking any worse than they did since the flush. Before the flush, the symptom was rapidly progressing. So, my best guess is that Dangreen you were correct in that I overnuted them.
I watered them today with 1 tbsp mollases per gal.

I'll be adding some pics tomorrow

Hey man. Nice job overall. If they are starting to Amber and you want a heady high :hump: rather than a couch lock you should go ahead and harvest. That is the trouble with mix seeds though. You do not know what you really have so there is no way to know exactly what is up. Just my 2 cents:blsmoke:

harvest already? hm.. I dunno I mean, they have been fattening every day so I wanna get as much bud as I can. I think I'll harvest around 25% amber 75% cloudy.

but man I am VERY high right now, I took off a piece of a bud about 1/2 the size of a pencil eraser head last night, and let it dry over night. I can't believe something that small is getting me so high, maybe its because I haven't smoked in a month. very pleased though.

pictures later today.

pictaaaahs!

I guess they have gotten worse, and now I'm not so sure if it wasn't a ph problem because I was using ph strips, which apparently are not reliable.
so, they look raggedy as fuck but, they are my babies and I love them!
And also they have fattened up a bit.

Q- should I cut off those shriveled looking leaves?

Dont cut anythinu useing?g off bro just let it fall off. I think you might have a phospurus problem or a PH problem. Is there a rust color to the leaves if so it could be a Phosuporus problem. What kind of nutes are yo

who cares what the leaves look like , those nugs look good as shit. flush that fucker some more while theres no nutes and harvest. i think your ready.

harvest when your ready mate, not when others say :eyesmoke:

is the dying of the leaves getting worse?

try not to pull or cut of any leaves, if its still there its still got food in it and the plant will use all the energy and food in a leaf before it drops it. if you take it away your taking food away from it

they look really nice though, i hope they problem irons out for ya.

do you have a uv light in there? just everything seems blue :eyesmoke:

Believe me I'd love to chop 'em now, but the reason I'm not is because none of them have amber trichomes at all and they still have some clear ones too.

Anyway, I sampled all 3. The two taller ones are similar enough that I can't tell them apart too much, but that may be because I smoked one a few hours after and getting high a second time is always different so that may have confounded the results. Its a very energetic and cerebral high.

I tried the little one a day later, and it is definitely indica dominant. nice body feeling.

overall i'm quite pleased with the potency

Hey those buds are looking really good but i dont think they are done yet. The last week the buds will turn really hard and the hairs will turn a deep amber. Just make sure to trim off the leaves that are dying cause then your plant is using up energy trying to repair itself. I am pretty sure that it is Nutrient burn, but its kinda late cause your leaves where already burnt pretty bad. I would just trim off the old leaves let your plant go until you think Trich's are ready, while just flushing rest of grow. Cause they will still finish and you will have less trimming to do when the time comes.

hey dangreen thanks, I'll definitely cut off the dying and dead ones. As someone mentioned cutting them off cuts the buds food source off, but you are right because there is no food in those leaves anymore. I hope they finish soon, another week or week and a half? have any insight?

I'd say wait a week check the Trich's maybe do a lil taster see what you think. It's always best to pick it the way you like your high. I like to pick some of my buds early for a heady high. Or if i want a couchlock/sleeper bud i will let them get about 50% amber. But this dosen't always apply to every strain. Specially Lowryder's differ in phenotypes so much, that 2 plants may give you 2 totally different high, taste, and aroma. Keep up the good work that bud looks really heavy with Trichomes. Also i know you can let the lowryders go they will grow for upwards of 12 weeks. The longer you let them go the more swell they get and seen a lot of them turn purple. Can't wait to see more pictures

ask and ye shall receive

still no amber trichs, but I'm getting impatient. I think I'm gonna chop on Sunday.

I love the stump haha what a midget it's only about 6 inches but nice and fat.
I also like the shape of the tallest one, its like a rocketship.
I trimmed off all the totally dead leaves

You still have quite a bit of leaves left. I've had them all the way to the bud with out any fan leaves and they still finish. Maybe harvest 1 so you can have some smoke while the others finish. You will Defiantly have some nice bud though that stuff is really Frosty and looks dense. Great Job.
