Tent growing is easy compared to the monsters you grow. Check out the free seed contest I'm doing over on the Useful Seeds thread. 20 pack of Lucky Lime regs and I'll pick a winner randomly around 10 tonight.

I’ll most definitely look at it

I’m gettin me a dump truck load of fresh soil today here soon gonna try and mix it by hand as always I already for the amendments I need only think I don’t have yet is the perlite however I’m still gonna mix it and wheel barrel loads to my garden area which isn’t super far luckily, 200$ for a fresh load seem good? Everyone else I called said 250,300$

Yeah 200 a dump truck load is a steel since you normally have to pay like a 100 for delivery fee or even more pending how far they have to travel. Can’t wait to see how your garden turns out. It’s going to be a lot of work but the rewards will be well worth it.

The dude just hooked me up real good! 200$ and I didn’t even have to pay him right now! And the soil it self is some premo soil! It’s got a real nice earthy smell to it

I paid 250 for a 8 yard load of screened topsoil over 10 years ago and it was a good deal. You got a great deal I'd say. Mine even came with a bonus black snake that slithered away after the driver dumped the soil. I was glad for the mouse controller bonus lol.

If you can find an old horse farm they normal sell their old manure cheap and aged horse manure works awesome for cannabis. I know an grower that his dad was big at the Cornell university in the horticultural department and that’s all he would use and never have to feed anything for the whole grow but he also grew on a stream bed so it was decent soil to begin with

So FN frustrating I went to several different places to find fluorescent lights and everything is LED now like wtf but luckily I was able to find what I was lookin for at the last place and got my new bulbs and a new light strip so tomorrow I will be setting up the lights in the new tent and transplanting everything into 5gal bags

LED lights use less energy so they're popular for home and shop use now. Luckily Lowe's had T5 bulbs the last time I needed them.
I get they use less energy n all that but like they don’t even have cfl lights anymore just as regular home lights or anything and it’s frustrating to me lol I’m sure I’ll eventually have to switch over to LED but I’m holding on to cfl to do what I do for as long as i can

I still use the old style light bulbs around the house. The new CFL and led bulbs just look off to me. I've never tried CFL for growing but I've seen some good grows with it. When I started, cheap blurple LEDs were the best I could afford so I used those for almost 2 years before getting a COB LED setup. I live in a very small town so I can completely understand frustration with not being able to get things you need. I have an hour drive to the closest city that has a good variety of stores that aren't Walmart or Target.

When I have to grow inside I am still using CFLs. They seem to do the job but mainly for smaller grows. I am hoping these endless storms stop in CA and we get some sun so I can again grow outside. I started a bunch and discovered CFL just does not cover like sunlight does.

If the CFL’s are for sprouting you can use the new LED lights just pop the plastic cover off and they work like a charm just make sure you get the right color temp like 5000-6000K will work good even 4000k is fine.

Nothing can compare to the sun! I just like my CFL for starting my seedlings and getting them goin til they’re ready to be outside

Is 5-6k full spectrum? Or? I will eventually make the switch over I mean I already have I think a 4 or 5000k shoplight style LED light that I used last season which worked with my other lights but I like everyone else don’t like change, but if it’s cheaper to run a bunch of them I’ll definitely make a switch sooner than later

Lol with them now In the 5 gal bags it’s gonna suck so much when it’s time to take them to their final bags outside they’re gonna be so big and heavy lol, but I have 3 100gal bags I gotta empty. I gotta mix up the soil for my 400 gals and get that moving along I think Monday or Tuesday I gotta buddy comin over to finish knocking down 3 or 4 trees for me and helping clear some brush and then I’ll be move/expanding my garden n bags depending on weather
