loss of trichomes and stickiness

so, before anything i was told these were gg4 seeds given to me by a friend. beginning of flower the newly forming clumps had tons of trichomes which would leave hands sticky as hell almost wouldnt even be able to pull them apart. after my daily battle with catepillars and digging through my precious nugs to get the fuckers out i noticed how much stickiness i had lost, yes they still have trichomes but looks like in winning my all out war with those bastards i ended up losing my plants stickiness and its amount of trichomes. at this point in the cycle (been flowering for about 7 weeks) is there anything i can do to help my baby just pack on trichomes or what i see is pretty much what i will harvest? let me know what you experienced fellas think

not all strains are sticky to the end.
at 7 weeks old all you can do is love it a little to she finishes.
snip bud and dry it while you wait

you usually don't want to manhandle your buds anyways - but sounds like you hadd to do what you had to do. .... Besides the curing ( done right ) will get the terpy goodness you crave ... Just run them til the end.

BTW : killer mullet .... Lol

I also experienced a major loss of stickiness and trichomes with my last harvest. It was also my very first harvest ever lol but yeah towards the end they lost a lot of density and stickiness. I believe it was because I let them go for way too long in flower, but that's because I had no where near 50% amber trichs
