What is most alarming about our Community Organizer is that is is so delusional that he awarded himself a B+ for his job rating thus far (on 60 minutes last night.)
Wow!

This is going to be quite a wild ride for the next 3 years!

Point of clarification/correction...Obama's self grading took place on Oprah's program and not on 60 mins.

Either way, it reflects an amazing case of megalomania in the POTUS....and IMO this spells major trouble for the US down the road...:-(
Whoah Nelly!

Freudian slip, there?

I was heavily involved in the election campaign last year and I can tell you that people voted for healthcare reform, action on pollution and emissions and more focus on afghanistan. Just because you don't want it and didn't vote for it, doesn't mean that this is true of Americans as a whole. In fact, if the election results are to be believed (...and yes, election are what matters, not gallup polls) then this is exactly what the majority of american voters want. Unlike his predecessor, his decisions as president are pretty consistent with what he campaigned on....

Also, I know this was a year ago and it's probably difficult to remember for all you stoners, but we avoided a global financial meltdown and are actually seeing good indications of an economic recovery. Granted, he didn't campaign on staving off a massive recession that was caused by bad policies during the bush years, but I think he still deserves a B for getting that one done. And please spare me the republican talking points about how barney frank and congress caused the recession. It simply isn't true and the facts are out there.

It makes me sad that the republican party and the conservative movement in general has degenerated into this obama-hating machine rather than articulating their own agenda and selling it to the american people. You guys need to find yourselves a new william buckley or ronald reagan, not a sarah palin or a joe the plumber. People like myself, who feel they have no choice but to support democrats, might actually be receptive. Right now, I coudln't vote for a republican because all I hear from them is that they don't like gays, immigrants, the environment or pot, and nothing about how they're going to fix the mess they made.

I understand that the base supports him but im talking about the rest of america

Obamas current approval rating is now 44% down from 65% in just 10 months,

the lowest approval ever recorded for a president at this stage in his presidency

this is a very clear sign that the people who got him elected and put him over the top, who are independents have jumped ship in droves

now you must ask yourself why would independents vote massivly for him and then within 10 months jump ship and want him removed?

its because he lied to them. said he would do one thing and then did the opposite.

and this is clearly illustrated in the polls.

guess what george bushs approval rating was at this time in his presidency?

85%

i understand liberals like what he is doing

however the liberals in Greece liked what thier liberal government was doing too,

and now they are bankruppt

I submit the liberals are happy to take take and take and dont even think of the consiquences

its not like we dont have example from foolish coutries all over the world who have already been down this road and ruined thier country and peoples well being

for some reason we are now following them off the cliff while they are trying to climb back up to the place they were before thier greed got the best of them

people want sombody to pay for thier health care while they waste thier money on ipods and liquor, greed and selfishness will be the end of us

you have to work for what you want

you deserve nothing on this earth but what you have worked for.

We have a lot examples of countries with strong social nets that provide healthcare, retirement and other benefits, but aren't broke. Think Germany...it's the biggest economy in Europe, but has a very generous social system that dates back to the late 19th century. Sure, there are problems with the system, but it's more efficient than what we do for healthcare and saves them money. They're far from going broke. Greece has a lot of problems that have nothing to do with public spending, like everyone trying to circumvent the VAT and widespread corruption in public tenders.

You're also ignoring the benefits of having universal healthcare, retirement security and whatnot for the economy. The reason GM opens plants in canada is that they don't have to pay for expensive healthcare benefits as they do for UAW workers because the employees are covered by health canada.

Also, your assumption that his poll numbers dropping means people think he lied to them requires some logical somersaults....besides, 2012 is what matters and you guys will get your referendum.
