hahahahahhahahahhaha

Okay, so you do harvest at 6 weeks. Its just nowhere near done. But of course, you and your bosses got in once it became legal and didnt know dick about it before. Like I said, you do you boo. Maybe the reason "GG4 is slowing down in popularity" is because your harvesting shit ass super early bud and nobody wants it?

Nope, try to catch up. That was last weeks mistake.

The room pix was taken at 6 - 7 weeks. So was the flower.
Harvest at 8 weeks, on the 1st of November.
Trimmers at it right now.
no no i undestand you think that. but those photos...those were the best ones you could muster up for your big reveal?

that bud shot, please somebody chime in and say that you agree that was 1 week away from ideal harvest time. PLease somebody defend you.

gonna add, this is 2019. You're photo taking device does not keep track of the date in any way? you run a grow but cant even discern between multiple weeks? Good god you're a master of your craft.

Hello all.
I have been doing some digging and trying to find some strains to grow that have large yields and high thc. So far I’ve found sum strains by Dinafem and strains by canuk that have such traits.
Could anyone please contribute some strains and breeders that I could order from with nice yields and quality? Thank you for your time everybody !

I am a big fan of GG4 - hard to beat.
I routinely get 2.5 lbs per 1000 wt light in 6 weeks.
I am testing Chocolope and Do Si Do now for a possible room run.
The test plants are five weeks in flower.

The Choco looks very promising, but it is Sativa dominant and just may be a 10 week plant. We'll see.
The Do Si Do seems to be too squat and compact for my uses, but sure has a lot of bud sites on her ,,, and the buds are hard and compact.
most strains do take 10 weeks to flower correctly, regardless of what the breeder specs say, I have yet to encounter any that fully ripened in less than 10

Yea, I didn't answer this, because .... really, why.
I got nothin to sell you.
I don't care if you believe me, or respect me, or anything else ... you won't make any difference in my life.
UNLESS
I leave geo coding on my phone, and dates and times for photos and you use that info to do me harm. I am not ready to show you everything. In fact, I'm not ready to show you anything. You don't like me - I don't trust you. So ... fuck off ok?
I don't usually even TAKE photos, don't like em on my phone (dunno who's gonna be lookin at em).
But, I did this time because you cried and begged.
I won't again.

*******

Did you notice that I said that I took those pix' at seven weeks? Yea, that's early. Second grade arithmetic prolly confused ya.
Or, you can't understand that the date I take a pix is not the date that I harvest.
So, I don't need a defense ... because you can not prosecute.

So where you confused on how many days are in a week? Or are you just bullshitting all of us?

Let’s says your not .
How are you determining finished ?
How is your grow setup? Plants pre square?
What lights? Veg period?

I’ve never grown the real GG4 , but I’m pretty sure it’s 9-10 weeks to finish properly.

You got a secret oil?
I agree, most strains take a good 10 weeks to fully ripen

I will go through the math ...

TEN WEEK RUN
12 - 1000 Watt lights produce 35 lbs.
35 lbs sells for $1600/lb or $56,000.
In one year, we will get about 5 turns for a yearly gross income of $280,000.

EIGHT WEEK RUN
12-1000 Watt lights produce 30 lbs.
30 lbs sells for $1600/lb or $48,000.
In one year, we will get six turns for a yearly gross income of $288,000.

That is $8k per year, per room additional income for doing an eight week run.

Since there are no professional growers at this site, at least none that I've talked to (though I suspect Renfrew is a pro) I expect a half dozen peeps tell me how stupid I am, oh, and a liar too.

But, these ARE real numbers.
And, the person buying that bag doesn't give two shits if its ten weeks or eight. She doesn't care if it was fed natural bat crap. She tests for THC content, absence of PM and weight. That's it.
She's a pro.

the only point I am tying to make is that with most strains the THC content has not fully developed until around 10 weeks of flowering. I don't grow for profit, only for personal smoke or to make hash, so I would rather flower it until it is fully ripe. :peace:

Right.
And THAT is the difference.
It's not that I am stupid, I'm not.
It's not that I am lying, I'm not.

I harvest in eight weeks, and I make money.
You don't harvest in eight weeks, and you certainly don't make money.

But, look at the title of this thread.
I thought and hoped that it would attract professionals.
It obviously didn't.
In fact I don't think there's any pro's here. All a bunch of kids sticking a seed in their moms Begonia pot.

I think the point is that finishing when it’s finished and finishing at 8 weeks to make more money and more harvests a year defeat the purpose of running something if it needs 10 weeks.
I get it your growing “big time” and just trying to get as much weight and buds that look nice.
I just feel as if your taking the wrong approach and tone for the answer your looking for.

if there was one strain that was “the best” everyone would rock it. that’s half the fun. finding that new flavor everyone wants and shit but to each their own.

and who defines professional lol... someone pays you to water and not take photos?
You can be pro and grow 10 plants.. idk

Chill bro some people on here are under the radar or quit running huge grows because of stress .... I am amazed your getting $1600 for lbs of gg4 in Cali mad props . But I suggest you look into cropping cherry pie , wedding cake, or purple punch.
It would surprise me if GDP gets you the same price point as those flavors . Look in to phinest cannabis or phinest genetics they service your area with the hot shit and build hype in instagram... best of luck

Testing is finding that optimal thc levels are about half clear half cloudy in trich heads .
But for me amber heads show that it won’t be a racey high and terpines have developed.

Ah, the quest for the holy grail so to speak. Honestly, I think bodhi says it best when he says to plant seeds. Meaning that every strain has a "general" finish time but unless you have a clone, it's hard to pinpoint an exact finish time. And even within those genetics, there is some variance on finishing times. Start looking at hybrids with dominant indica traits as they will usually produce quicker but still have the rigor that a sativa does which results in an increased yield. With all of that being said though, a crucial aspect of this is to make sure that your growing abilities are at a level in which you can successfully produce, and consistently produce, those top tier qualities and traits. Second, which some argue is the most important, and I agree, is genetics. I've seen shit growers produce some good weed because they have some amazing genetics. Ive also seen some amazing growers produce even better weed from those same genetics due to their skill. And third, learn and understand how to cure. You can ruin a few month's worth of work by not properly curing your product (or medicine) and then storing it for later consumption or sale. Some breeders I like (no particular order) are Useful Seeds, Bodhi, Docs Dank Seeds, Brisco, and AK Bean Brain to name a few.
