Looking for some Pros advice in room design.

Starting another grow, looking for more advice.

This is a legal grow. looking to grow 80 trees.

Here is the dimensions i've got to work with.

30' x 27' and 9' x 45' 8ft ceilings in both.

I'm looking to pull 1/2 lb per plant, will be growing them in soil, would 10g containers be enough or should I go bigger? I am thinking 2 plants per 1000w HPS, or do you think I could do 3? Keep in mind I'm hoping to get 1/2lb per.

Im not a novice, but would love any tips on light placement or room design or the cooling requirements i'm gonna have to factor in.

Forgot to include: I will be using switchable ballasts MH/HPS, so each "room" will veg and when its time to flower ill just switch to HPS.

SCROG 4 plants per light. You're biting off more than you can chew though if this is real. 80 "trees" and you're on here asking this type of question? SOG and SCROG were invented for situations like this. Good luck on banking on a half-pound per plant unless you veg large strains for a couple months minimum and SCROG continuously.

If your growing 80 oaks and planning on using 1: 1000w per 2plants. I would do the calculation first and think about it..I would recommend you not to... ( :

trees that big i would say go for 15 gal pots min for soil grow. 2 trees per light. lots of haters will say that its a waste of power growing trees.

i knew of a guy that grew 11 trees. (only allowed 12) he had his cycle down so he chopped a pounder down every week. it took quite a while for him to get the process dialed in.

I would recamend 4 foot max. 5 or bigger take longer and might need 2 harvest. First for the large buts then let the popcorn on the bottom 2-3 feet get bigger so there worth trimming. 3-4 footers do great with 1 cut under 1000.

Dude! That's like a replacement coming to your platoon, asking what it would take to kill 80 enemy combatants and then heading out solo. Not saying he can't or you can't. But if he came out the jungle alive and having killed 80, or even 40, most would be stunned and want a share in his luck cuz it wasn't skill. Just saying.

Can't have the replacement stepping up the plate and nailing it eh? Its like everyone on the forums doesn't want any competition. Of course the nay sayers have actually grown and harvested. So they know its more work than most do. Of course it is annoying people coming around asking questions that there are numerous threads online covering so said topic. If you are serious about growing trees check out doubled's mpb buckets.
