It's in a mix of Miracle grow potting mix, shagnum moss and perlite. They are outside but it's been overcast here for days. I can't grow outside of i would.

a little, but not having good sun doesn't help, and they have to grow into their first pot before you'll see much of anything happen above ground. the plant has the get a set of roots established before it can start growing a lot of leaves. i use small solo cups, 6 oz ones to start most of my stuff, so it doesn't take them that long to get a root mass established, then i'll put them in a pot 4 times that size, and they fill it in a few days and start growing again. and in that first pot, i'll give them 10 ml of water once a day, around the base of the plant, and let the rest of the pot get pretty dry. this causes the plant to reach out and search for more water, while ensuring they have enough to keep growing with. i do that 4 or 5 days, then i'll lightly water the whole pot, once they have roots established.

Thanks. That makes sense. Is Alaskan fish fertilizer any good for when I start feeding them?

With a small area like your tent you have 2 main concerns this time of year. First is heat. A 400W bulb is as big as I would be comfortable using in your tent. Get a fan on them also. Second is height. Many plants will double in height after being put to flower. Means cut your veg time down or top the plants early, at 10-12 inches IMO.

Good luck, BigSteve.

thanks, big steve. I have decided that for now im stuck with this blurple thing lol but i'm gnna buy another so i will have about 240-250 actual watts on one plant. I decided to grow one outdoors at the same time. i'm thinking in a few weeks when the wife has gotten over these recent purchases then i will buy this kind 150 watt led im looking at. I do have a clip on fan on low blowing down from the top and i have the carbon filter set up and it has some serious suction. Theres only one setting on the exhaust fan and its too loud. Im just picturing when the pest control guy ( or anyone else ) going out to the garage and immediately will hear and see this suspicious black thing in the corner making noise lmfao. Yea i'll be going out there with them lol

one thing i have already realised is that this tent is not going to be big enough for what i'm looking for. Lucky if one big plant with serious training will fit. I guess i will have to upgrade soon.
