Looking for a Home and or Land with a Home

around this time next year i will be looking for a home. im in southern california and would like to stay in california but would consider near by medical states. this post is just to float an idea and see what kind of responce i get. i need a 2 br home but would consider a trailer or even just land. i have skills and can offer work and help to those in need for rent. im wondering if its possible to get owner financing through barter & trade and even what other things people could exchange? food? clothes? building meterials? just putting this out their give me some feedback. you think this kind of thing can work?

If only there was some kind of exchange system where you could work anywhere, and they would give you credit you could then spend anywhere.
