for my first question when should you move your plants up a pot size??? mine seemed to be growing very well then they just hit a level where they stopped but are still healthy... people tell me moving them might kill them... i'm confused and could use some help???

Not sure what size plants/pots your talking about, but if you think they should go bigger, it's not going to kill them.

Since your are using soil youcan gently loosen the soil around the outside of your current pots and turn it upside down. Use your finger from one hand to hold the stem right at the soil line. See any roots? If so its time to transplant. The best way I found was to get my new soil good and moist with ph 6-6.5 water, make a whole in it the size of the old pot and slip that baby out of the old right into the new one. Gently pack the soil a little around the stem and 'water it in slightly. Mist the palants for a couple of days and your good to go. l
