though im planning to grow outdoors for now, i decided to cultivate the seedlings at home, then move them out once there a little bigger... but damn i must say i hate the fact that you have to wait the whole bloody year to get any bud >_<.

after having my whole first crop decimated by my young siblings, i recieved my GH micro and bloom RIGHT after the incident... i was going to try out DWC at the time... but right now im feeling perfectly fine with dirt due to my serious case of "Fuck'em-idus".

might as well put the GH to use ey? lol so i used the lucas method's formula to spice up my spray bottle with nutes.

am i on to something? or was this completely pointless?? i mean even though im not using a hydroponic setup, i put the nutes into the water im spraying my plants with. will this give them a boost in growth considering what ive done??

a really wonderfull thought i think... what do you guys think?

What your doing is called foliar feeding & is a technique that has been used in gardening forever.

oh. and thats good then?
It depends on the circumstances,if the grow is having trouble with high humidity or powdery mildew then its not a good thing, foliar feeding can also lead to over fertilization if the plants are being fed through the roots as well.

Foliar feeding is great for correcting any nutrient problems in the plant because it works much quicker than root feeding, its also a great way to make sure the plants are getting the proper amount of nutes if you have nute lock in the soil, you can foliar feed to correct the problems caused from nute lock while the soil is being flushed & brought back up to acceptable ph levels.

I only foliar feed when i have a plant problem in most of the grow,if the grow is going perfect than i do not foliar feed the plants with the exception of when they are about 30 days into bud, then i spray them down with a high nitrogen fertilizer that contains all the micro nutrients so im sure the plants retain good health & leaf color as long as possible all the way through budding.
