Hope you all are stocking up now because it's coming

People are panic buying already, I was at Walmart doing my grocery shopping this morning and the store was a mess and shelves are getting cleaned out

No toilet paper left and cleaning/antibacterial supplies were just about gone

In the vitamin aisle, vitamins like C and D were just about gone and ibuprofen, aspirin, acetaminophen and naproxen sodium just about wiped out

Alcohol aisle was looking pretty bare but that could be because of the holidays coming up.

I'm going to buy a 1/2 gallon of Bacardi white rum and a 1/2 gallon of vodka later today so I don't run out. I can't buy alcohol until noon on Sunday around here

Hospitals are starting to fill up too with the hard hit Covid patients.

Ontario has hit daily infection rates comparable to a few states including Florida. We opened everything up while still having community spread and we’re back to the “we’re fucked” stage....... thank you Doug Ford for your foresight in keeping us safe. And now you’ve lied about following the recommendation of the health experts....... Asshole. The options were strategic openings and monitoring the trends, opening up as warranted. OR open the whole fucking place and hope for the best .......ya he chose the latter, ASSHOLE! Now you get to tell a cancer patient waiting for chemo that he will die because the hospital is at capacity, but hey he’ll get to have a nice sit down meal before he’s fucking dead. That scenario is actually happening with a friend of mine :(. I’ve been waiting for a heart operation since March and finally thought it may happen.... not fucking likely now......ASSHOLE. Now we’re headed to a full lock down but at least we all got to go get a few drinks at the bar..... that was fun.....ASSHOLE. Ok rant over I’m gonna eat a few gummies and go watch a movie :(.

I was always concerned about Dougie, he looked scared stiff early on, but he is a tory, and that ain't much different than a republican, at least his kind of tory. If I was Trudeau, I'd have someone hint at manslaughter charges, like they might have down south with Trump and some governors one day. Ignoring expert public health advice and even pleading, for self interested political purposes and gain, is a callus disregard for human life.

We've got a cluster of new cases in NS and we need to get smarter too, mostly travel related cases, the numbers are still small though.

You seem to be implying that trying to stop the spread of a deadly disease is somehow unethical, hmmmm interesting.

The "chains" that I wear I have donned willingly and are light indeed.

I agree that stopping Communism, a deadly disease is important.

I have no objection to you wearing a mask if you like. Do you wear a condom alone in your bed too? Can't be too safe.
