I am using a 8x5 ft tent and just wanting to know if I should have 1 x 600watt hanging from centre or 2 x 250 watt spaced out? Thinking the 2x 250 will light up more space than 1 x 600? What would u do?? Can't afford to run more than 600watts.

8x5 is pretty big, 2 x 315CMH is the only way I can see to go.

2x 315 cmh or a single 600w hps vert is the best way to maximize light coverage on those low wattage needs. Might want to check out the vertical section or look through youtube.

I think you need more like 1500 watts to flower 40 square feet.

Go the dual CMH route, or run half the tent...

Verts an option, but only if ur sure ur up for it...

He did not mention CMH and there are BETTER options, depending on budget
