Lighting help!

Hey guys, I’m in the first week of flowering and I was looking to use a bit of extra juice for the branches and bud sites that my 600watt hps wasn’t reaching, I found an old 125 watt cfl photography lighting bulb that’s 5000k? Is this any good or am I just wasting my time and electricity? Thanks

Its better than nothing, not ideal spectrum but its still extra photons.
You can also look at different methods to get light to more parts of your plant. At this stage that might be supper cropping or lollipoping.
One is bending over the taller branches, which allows you to lower your light closer to the whole plant.
The other is removing the lower bud sites which are not getting enough light, removing the fluffy stuff often gains you weight on the buds getting the most light.

Ime mixing spectrums in flower works a treat! Actually had better results from it! It’s a cfl dude just throw it in there, won’t take up much electricity either!

Any extra light will be a good thing but i don't think the light you are on about will have a very high par rating.
Stick it in there it certainly won't hurt them.

Happy Growing
