Go to Wal-Mar, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc ... it's an automatic time and it'll cost around $15 ... make sure it is capable of holding your HPS amps ...

HI cloud9 welcome to the forum. Menards carries the same timer as my hydro shop for 1/2 the price. You can program it for any time period over one minute. Has its own batteries so it doesnt lose the program of the current time in a power failure and is rated for 20 amps. Thats enough to handle a 1000watt hid light. Cost less than $20.00 and is better than the ones that cost a lttle less. VV

thanx guys~i got the timer this morning.it makes everythin so much easier :)

another question...i have 3 female plants left that ive been vegging for 76days now..im gonna flower them starting next week as soon as i recieve my HPS lights. they are all slightly over 3Ft tall right now~so does this mean they're gonna be around 5~6Ft once i start flowering?? or..are people jus exaggerating when they say the plants grow twice their size once flowering occurs?
