Mr I Can Do That For Half
should I use 4 400 watters lol
Ok I want opinions and thoughts on this for future refernce. If you had your choice to go with 4 stationary 400 watt hps lamps over an 8 x 5 table area or 1 1000 watt hps with oversized reflector on a electronic moving rail which would you choose to do?
And as a part 2 which would you think would be a lesser current draw in reality the 2 400 watt ballast firing up and running or a single 1000 watt ballast..I know what I think it should be but someone may know more and I want opinions on these 2 questions..Let er rip..![]()
yep, definitely no electrical savings. 1000 watts is 1kw no matter how much voltage its getting. a 1k watter is a 1k watter no matter how much current its drawing. lol seems kinda fucked up but theres a law that George Simon Ohm came up with called Ohms law, which states voltage(V(or E))=Current(I)xResistance(R) or more commonly seen as V(or E)=IR. then came the power law which statesSooo.. does this mean everyone was right?? 220 vs 110 in the USA, no electrical savings.
