NO SOIL. Id like to see what people are using for nitrients systems light and yields per plant everyones os different but also seems to be a big question on yeild per plant. But maybe inatead of comparing threads we can have one with many answers and compare stratagies and try to figure out what does best and why. This will probably help many people increase their harvest maybe even YOURS.

I'm not sure yet because it's my first grow, but I'm using a 400w MH 19/5, hydro. Vegging to 15" or so, hoping for 3 oz a plant. I think that's a reasonable number correct?

unless you get some total monsters i dont think your gonna get the 3 oz you want, what watt is your hps? a 1000w should be enough for a few.

400 watt hps hortilux bulb. Going to have 5-6 females probably after sexing. Next batch will be 11 female clones.

dont get me wrong, your harvest is gonna be great and all but i cant see 3 oz each really unless you veg them for longer, i'd look into perpetual growing if i was you though,its easier and more time/cost effecient to get smaller harvests more often than a few bigger ones a year imo.

Hey i grew 1(ONE) plant in a cupboard under a 400 hps (for the whole grow: 1 month veg from seed and around 10 weeks 12/12) i used a recirculating dripper system with Coco as my medium. i yielded just over 8oz and it was my first grow

hey rob mar..... 1 pound per light is the ceiling i hit as well ... i have tried 16 big plants 2 months veg from ez cloner got 1 pound....then i tried twenty shorter plants 1month in veg.. got 1 pound per light less veg time... so i cut back to 2 weeks veg and added 40 plants still 1 pound per light..but little veg time ..then i tried 99 plants in 6inch pots and guess what 1 pound but only one week veg growth straight out of cloner...and all bud is the top cola.. very little scrap..I have heard of 2-3 pounds per light but only if you veg for months....any real ideas to increase4 yield i will happily give it a try.......anyone.... anyone so far 1 week veg time with many smaller plants equal the best turn around time and the best bud but its still one pound...but one pound of tops.. oh i am ebb and flood 1000 hps on a 6 foot light mover with florescent supplements.cutting edge solutions plus budswell and gravity without co2 which is the next thing i am going to do after i get my hard water issues fixed.
Maybe one pound is all that light can pull maybe with two 1000 watters you can pull more would be my guess co2 will help alot id try the light first really... ive also heard good results with mh and hps lights on for flowering my buddy uses one of each 750w each and gets about two or three ozs a plant without co an gets 10 plants a week

i grew under a 400 and a 600 watt hps with 3 100 watt hps side lights and 4 2 tube floros. 4 ft each. i grew in 5 gallon buckets and 2 gallon grow bags. on average i was harvesting 3 oz per plant. a little more in the 5 gallon buckets. thats with a month of vegging. this time im gonna veg for 2 months and use 30 gallon buckets with the tee-pee system to tie up my plants. cant wait to see.
