I currently live in colorado.. it's awesome here. I have been growing for 13 years now and have loved every second of it. I was caught growing in 2003. I was a juvenile so I was lucky enough to get off with a slap on the wrist
I see all of the threads to help grow without the authority finding your grow and it makes me remember that marijuana is still under attack. I just wanted to here some stories from fellow growers.

I started growing when I was 15. We had a 1/2 to 3/4 acre backyard and I could hide my plants by the fenceline and no one ever knew for years. I turned 20 and got a job with the DoD and had to pack-up and move one weekend on no notice. That was in August and mid season for my plants but never had time to take them down and they were no where near ready for picking.

After 2-3 months of my parents not having me to mow the yard, they finally had to hire a crew to come bush-hog the backyard. They said at the end of the day they saw 5 guys with a pick-up truck and almost a dozen 7-foot weed bushes drive out of the driveway. They didn't ask for the $150 for the mow job and drove off without saying anything...

Hell yeah, my mom and my aunt taught me to grow when I was 14. In the backwoods of Tennessee everyone has a way to make money without a job because there really aren't any jobs. Most people are on welfare, or grow weed or make moonshine. There really isn't much else in Appalachia. By the time I was 20 I was smart enough to plant a few to make myself some side-money that wasn't pilfered by the family, lol. It's the redneck way :blsmoke:

I'm originally from Montana about 50 miles south of the Canadian border. They use to pile the bad peaches in the orchards and mushrooms would grow in them. Made for some good cash. Other than that growing was always my expertise. I made some moonshine out of grapes once, got drunk just from distilling the stuff.
