Right on, glad I got more input on that detail. I really think the cob 3000k are making it seem worse than it really is...lights comin on soon so I'll get some pics up with them under regular light. Depending on the responses, I can dump the current tea and just do an act.

Day 20 Flower
20151113_081909.jpg

Gave the girls some SST this morning made with:
`1oz malted row 2 barley, ground to a powder
`pinch of aloe powder
`15ml of bioag fulpower
`1 gal water

I also sprinkled small kine neem meal...Saw some flying buggas. They look like fruit flies? Nothing bad lookin on the girls so I'm not tooooo worried about them. They seem to only come out and fly when I water.

The SSH is pushing out the pistils! So beautiful. I noticed some suga on the leaves today. I think I might have gotten lucky with the shorter flowering pheno. She has been progressing much faster than the others, which have an advertised shorter flowering time.
20151113_082232.jpg

The Mt. Cooks have started shooting more and more pistils now.

Getting jungly a little, hopefully the stretch is over real soon!
Started em at 14", they're all around 20-21" now.
I defoliated some choice fan leaves to allow more light to specific budsites

Played with the white balance setting with my phone's camera... Better than 3000k lighting, but still not as "natural" looking as it appears in person. I'll continue to mess with it.

The Jam!

Much Love to you all!

Bahaha thanks my french friend!
Yeah I have no idea why they look so sharp...more on the newer leaves than anything.

She was an Herbies freebie from an order I placed about a year ago. Critical Super Silver Haze by Delicious Seeds.

The others are Mt. Cook. I got them as clones but Kiwi Seeds is the breeder I believe...it won a cup a few years back.

I'm using fabric pots this time, the CSSH is in a 3gal smart pot brand. The others are in 2gal- 1 smart pot, 1 hydrofarm fabric pot, and 2 aurora fabric pots.
I like the ones from aurora the best. When I go to water the others it drips out the side easily, but with the auroras it doesn't happen. The water goes all down instead of sideways...

I actually just germed some new beans!
Hopefully they sprout soon :)

Strain Hunters Money Maker
Samsara Holy Grail 69
Female Lemon Kush

Also available for popping later:
Female Seeds C99
Nirvana AK48
Humbolt 707 Truthband
Dinafem Purple Afghan Kush

Where's your grow journal Jacob?
I wanna see some french cannabis! Hahaha Aloha!

I was disappointed with the money maker...very unstable and not a really good taste imo
I am not sure but I am pretty sure I read something on a critical pheno with double edge...sounds like what you have...a very good pheno if I remenber well...!

Yeah man, I was kinda bummed I went with Money Maker after doing some more reading, but I just wanted to run some cheap stuff in the beginning. I plan on ordering some TGA and Bodhi stuff next go around. The c99 and ak should be promising though.

I'm stoking over the CSSH! She is by far my favorite...I watched her grow up from a little baby seed! And now she's flowering into a beautiful woman :D

Those french buds look great! You've got yourself a nice canopy. DIY modular design lights... sweet!

Yes :D Took them at the end of week 1 Flower. But I did not label them haha! I did a perlite bed in a spinach container... 92% root success in 10 days! I was pretty proud of myself lol. I can kind of tell the difference between the two strains right now, when they grow up a bit I'm sure I'll know which is Silver.

This is their home

Top shelf- seedlings. 2 cool white cree XML @ 1 watt each
Bottom shelf- clones. 1 5000k vero 10 @ 9 watts.

I think I fimmed her back in veg. Basically pinched the top, and the two second highest branches shot up. A shoot was formed at the pinch site as well, resulting in three main colas. The geometry has been fascinating to watch unfold!

Got some seeds starting their first real fans... they will go into the new shelf cab when it's ready. I'm not sure how I will train them just yet. Any suggestions for keeping them under 20" tall at finish? Strains Lemon Haze, Money Maker, and Holy Grail.

I hopped on the tropf train and got the 5 pack starter set :) Just gonna stick those carrots in there. I'm sure the perfected watering (after the dial in period) will make up for the root damage... right? Either way, I'm super stoked for them to arrive

Jah Bless ✌

Day 32 Flower
20151125_103932.jpg

Girls got a spinosad shower today...Spotted some buggas on the undersides of the leaves that had those white spots on em. Pretty sure it's spider mites. I got a good close up pic and I can totally see their 8 little legs. Fakas will be gone now. It was their second shower over the past 3 days. I pinched off all infected fans. There is one cola with damage on the flower leaves, but it's a lower one, so no worries vegan curries.

Other than that, everything is cruise! These gals will provide some good end of the year meditation. Clones are doing good, bout to pop some into flower soon. Life is great! And not just because my grow is going well, but because

Jah Love is the reason that we're standing here!
So let me be clear, I Love You!!!

I think it is a spider mite year...F..k!that!
I have some too and it is very difficult to kill all with organic products...I have to go chemical with my cutting and wash everything...again!
I plan on buying a steam machine to clean everything...I guess boiling water would kill every pests and eggs!
Have a great day ★

Thank you all for the kind words!
I've spent some nice time with the ohana these past few days, always a joy :D

These mites are relentless! Saw some crawling around on two of the girls again... So they got a spinosad shower on the leaf undersides. I'm being mindful of not getting the buds wet, but I'm not worried about it. I'm sure the end product will be 10x cleaner than the mystery grown I've been picking up anywho. After this run the tent is going to be steamed for sure! I hope you get yours taken care of soon Jacob!

I cleaned up the tent recently and decided to document it for future look back on's by my stoney self. 20 bucks for a 6" ventech duct fan joined the party as my 4" s&p goes to the new cab.
The 4" filter used to be on the exhaust side of the s&p, but it is now on the intake side of the new 6" fan, with a 4"-5" reducer in between. I hung the filter with the chain that was recently holding the light, as I upgraded her to a rope ratchet. The fan is hung with string, and I can't hear it over the ac in my studio apartment. I also got rid of one of the intake ducts. It was taking up a good amount of room in my tiny 36" x 20" tent. Testing proved only one was needed. Great thing because that ducting was used on the new cab, saving me money. I also took out the usb pc fans that were using the ducting as a stand. Those fans are now being used to exhaust and circulate air in the vegestation. Been lazy about finishing that thing, but it is now lined with poly and has proper ventilation. The airflow from the pc coolers @ 12v provide the perfect breeze on the top of the canopy to the tent. Besides all the wires, everything looks pretty clean. Stoking!

Transplanted the clones today also. They're all in ~2.5 quarts of CC's recipe organic soil mix. They will be vegged for a couple few days then flipped. The two best looking of both strains were topped, on their way to motherhood!
I am excited to see how they will do under the mixed spectrum veros and monos compared to pure 3000k crees. Kill a watt read 141 watts for 12x vero 10s 3000/4000K, 8x 660nm, 2x 410 nm, and 2x 420 nm.

This hobby makes me feel so good :D I get to reconnect with nature right in my home and just by enjoying the process I am rewarded with the greatest medicine on this planet and beyond! I can yet can't wait for the first harvest. The braddahman I am a caregiver for has been just as stoked as I am watching these babies grow! We are truly grateful for the online cannabis community. Feels good to be a producer rather than a consumer!

Here's some shots of Critical Silver Super Haze under ~200 watts of DIY cob power!
For real though, some fatties! Watching the swelling everyday is beyond words. So much dankage...
