Lemon Zkittles and Strawberry Banana on RDWC in flower

I'll spare you the veg. on this one. I'm in the first few weeks of flower. Using HPS and CMH. The plants are SCROGged and in a DWC that I made from 2 repurposed Gen Hydro aeroponic set ups. 3 plants all together a couple weeks into flower. Using the Gen Hydro trio for nutes ( your favorite I'm sure) with Home And Garden gold bottle, Koolbloom wet. I normally like the dry too but I'm gonna use Mendecino Avalanche instead. I'm also using Botanicare's Silica and Fulpower fulvic acid and Thrive Alive

I'm also growing 2 Strawberry Banana mothers for an SOG grow next season. Never grown SOG. IF YOU HAVE ID LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT. These two plants are in a closet of my shed. They are using a Spectrum King 400. Not my favorite light, but it will work for the mothers

I did a nute change today. I decided to shit can Z7. I didnt like the foam, but I really didnt like the concrete formations from the dried foam. So, I'm going back to Hydroguard. While looking everything over I found dark areas on the roots. It wasnt slimy, or stinky, but it bugged me, so I added a cup and a half of 30% peroxide and let it circulate over night.

The plants are in the 3rd week of flower. All are showing preflowers, the one in the front at right is starting flower slowly like everything else it did. I added a CMH I had laying around and it's really helped with the tops. I only have one unfortunately, I may pick up another one.

The two mothers are doing well. They have a ways to go, but that's fine I still have over a month before they're needed

I like your grow setup as I am also in DWC and doing a ScROG setup. I also use a 1kw HPS in between 2 315W CMH lights in a 6.5x6.5x6.5ft tent, which sounds similar to what you're using for light. I think CMH compliments HPS rather well. Have never done SOG before so I can't offer any advice there, sorry bud.

That's funny. We really do have a lot in common. I'm a LED guy normally. I wanted to try MH and HPS so I bought a double ended fixture and went for it. I was using the CMH between two Black Dogs with some success. One season I had 2 plants, together they weighed 27oz. Pictures. But I'm always trying something new so here I am. I agree with you on HPS and CMH. The HPS spectrum isnt super bitchen for flower, the light from a CMH is much better. So my next curiosity is SOG. It looks easy enough, but we'll see.

I sure am, my grow journal in my sig contains my current ScROG grow, you're welcome to stop by there if ya like! 27oz off of two plants??? That's a pretty monstrous harvest for just two! So you have a double ended MH/HPS? Mine is just a regular aircooled single ended fixture. The only reason I've not gotten a DE HPS fixture is because I was concerned about the whole heat aspect. Even with an aircooled HPS and two CMH's, my tent still gets a bit toasty where it is summertime here and all. In the winter I could totally run a DE in it's place though. I agree though that, when circumstances allow it, every grow should be an experiment of some sort. It keeps me on my toes haha.
