If you're interested at all there's a thread "harvest a pound every three months" and the areo set up stinkbud has there is great and easily fabricatable. I have a small closetable version and it is pretty effortless . I'm sure you could make a real big one. There's a lot there about perpetual growing too. S'worth a peruse

Perpetual is really tough for big grows because if you get pollen in there kicked off by plants at seven weeks of bloom then everything for the next seven weeks will be pollenated and youll have to cut everything down to stop the pollen transfer. Thats why i like smaller rooms, so you can contain problems like that...somewhat. To the OP, make sure you research the strains your bringing in. Theres certain lines (like thai) that are known for herming. Stay away from anything with funky lines bred into it.

Well, shiiit. Looks like I've got some re-thinking to do. I really appreciate you guys coming to my rescue like this. I admit, my plan was a little ambitious/not completely thought out. I watched the Sea of Green vid on YT, and that old timer made cloning large numbers look so easy. First & foremost I need to be able to produce & not fall flat on my face. I'll do whatever necessary to accomplish this. I can experiment at home, in my free time, if I have any.
So I've got to bring my numbers down significantly, allot a larger veg area than originally thought. I didn't even consider the varying nute strengths required for my perpetual plan. Damn. I've got a lot to go on here. I'll devise a new plan just as soon as I read & re-read some shit. I took this pic of the large med grow I visited. I just didn't think it looked very efficient. It certainly didn't look complicated. I don't know why I like to complicate things, lol. Thanks fellas.

Just remember if you want to keep the veg room small you can run on shelves for veg plants with adjustable hight floros. Itll save room for the flower rooms with the veg stacked.

I think you're going to be juuuuust fine!
That's not my grow, if that's what you were thinking. This was part of a 250 light setup that my buddy was kind enough to walk me through. I know these guys work their asses off, but I can't help but think that better results could be had with smaller plants & more even canopy. It's a med-gro, so that's not an option for them.. They also hand water everything. I love automation. I left my HPA grow for two weeks while I was in Maui. Went off without a hitch. In fact, I was so overly prepared, that it could've gone a full month. I was running dtw though, that had a lot to do with it.

I know I feel he same way with my LPA setup. I think it's been the healthiest root systems I've ever cultivated

The avatar of a drunken Mr. Leahy just doesn't do much to instil confidence, I'm afraid. Good luck, when is the interview?

It's the avatar I chose like 5 years ago. It's not so much an interview in the sense that I've got the job. I'm just meeting with them to go over cost of materials & such. I hope to have something of a plan by then as well.

An investor will want a pretty detailed estimate of costs, production, etc. Do your homework beforehand.

I love growing weed, but the juice for me is building shit. I like to take something like

This

And make this

I will go into this doing what is "safe", but I don't know how long I'll be able to contain myself. I have a need to shake things up, and try out a crazy idea. The majority of em actually end up working out.

I just got off the phone with Steuber Distributing out of Snohomish, trying to get a lock on some wholesale coco. She told me that a pallet (100 SF compressed) goes for $1,200, but that she might be able to knock that down to $800. The product is Millennium, or Vgrove Millennium. Anybody familiar with the product, and price?
