Whenever you have droopy leaves, it's usually a sign of overwatering, or underwatering. Since it's a dwc, overwatering is out of the question. Do you have roots hanging from the bottom of the netpot yet? If not, you need to hand water the little one until roots are hanging. Hydroton isn't the best water retensive medium out there, but it works great for dwc. When roots are small, the water from the bucket can't get to them through the hydroton.

Very rare to have your ph not fluctuateas the plants and nutes do their thing

I agree with whats been said give her low ppms

Raise the light (if if too close) and leave it for a week


Sometimes just a day or two in plain un phed tap water (within reason) is just what she needs to bounce back

Like a mini leeching or a detoxification:)

Ive made worse plants come back just be easy

But i will say i would plant 1 as a back up more cause it could catch or pass it :)

Did anyone ask what the Rh was?

Droopy keaves in dwc is usually under oxygenation or rh is off or a nute issue

Imo im no expert :)

You might want to do a plain water flush, or two, then fill er up with plain pH water. She may have nutrient lockout from having the tds so high. You might need to flush all the salts away from the roots. Nutrient lockout will look very similar to nutrient deficiency.

Fill the bucket with plain water (don't worry about balancing it). Let that run for an hour, then drain and fill with plain water again. Drain and fill, then fill and balance the new water. Let it run without nutes for a few days, then introduce nutes starting around 150ppm. After a couple days, bump it up another 50ppm. Bump it up every couple days until you're around 250 to 300ppm. That's about as much as she needs right now. After she recovers and grows a few inches, over a week or so, start bumping it up again. This time, bump it up weekly. If she starts showing a deficiency, bump up the nutes. If she starts showing burning around the tips of the leaves, skip a bump. If she's nice, green, and healthy looking, don't do a thing.

With dwc, especially using a single bucket with no reservoir you have to be real careful, as there will be little room for error.

After draining what you've got, fill and drain twice. If I'm doing a regular flush, I'll drain, fill and drain, fill and balance. If I'm experiencing plant problems as a result of nutes, I'll do an extra fill and drain, to help remove more if the salts from the roots.

There's no rule on how many times you flush.

So I made some changes again. I decided to put it my girl in a 5 gallon instead of my 20gal tote so my airstones can be more efficient. I also took out my shitty LED and replaced it with a cob 3000.32467458_1844958785522682_2148966378084761600_n.jpg
