Legalize Mary Jane? Are you sure?

I grow about 10 plants at one time to fly low, and yes I am a little spooked about my covert op. even though live all alone and could really harvest if I wanted to 1400 sqft house and a big empty basement, but I just would like the laws ok or not worry about a small fry like me.

Sure, but mostly on the illegal side though right? On the legal side they would be called pot brokers - there will still be a need for them, but they are much more high volume - the stores would be the new dealers.

The only reason is that there are more street dealers than cannabis clubs is that it sort of works the same way as retailers vs distributors.

people who grow weed for a living
Ahhh, I see. Well then, lets protect the ones not paying taxes and selling it to school kids. Lets protect the ones that may not be selling a safe product. Lets protect the ones that work on the outside of regulations that help protect other people from damaging affects from a product that comes from an unknown source and leave the innocent people with no recourse in case something goes wrong.

Yeah. I'm thinking more along the lines of cigarettes or booze. No dealers really, just stores.

I think any marijuana "dealer" in a legal paradigm would really just be a delivery person - unlike now when they do so much more and bear a lot of the risk. They would become basically a Domino's pizza driver.

what about protecting medical growers who spend money to produce a product that has a demand by medical patients?

As long as the grower has regulations and guidelines that must be adhered to then by all means, grow away and supply the ones that need it.

Regulations and guidelines are something I've always been concerned about... I grow and let the clubs move it. I don't distribute anything that has not been thoroughly cleaned prior to harvesting, and even if I am using organic nutes, I don't move anything that hasn't been thoroughly flushed. I only grow quality strains, kept in clean rooms with fresh clean air.

I always let the club see pics of the operation, the products I use, my experience, etc... but never thought to ask "do you even care where I am bringing this in from?"

I think I'm going to ask.

Thats my point. But I think we all can agree that there are people out there that are only concerned with moving a product and not safety.

Yeah... well that's not what I call "medical marijuana" -- it's got to be safe, otherwise it gets a bad name all together.

That said, let certain people go broke in the event of legalization if they are not going to distribute a safe product or have guidelines as to who they can sell to.

Hey everyone, first I am a VET smoker, but I am a newbie in every sense of the word when it comes to growing weed seeing I am tired of playing and dealing with BS people for my supply. So I am on a mission to be self sufficient which brings up my questions/concerns. I do NOT have all the facts regarding legalizing weed.

My thoughts are if it is legalized, then greedy government comes along and applies a growers tax or some kind of fuckin tax. This means I am forced to pay this tax which I am not paying now, on top of the money I am spending to grow. I would have to think the price on the street would drop like lead ballon, and this then affects a lot of people who rely on this to survive and I understand that too, and I keep an open mind seeing tobacco, alcohol, script drugs are sold to make a profit. I call those people who need to make money and have a business,,, in the "Entertainment Industry" just like BUDWIESER.
I guess there are a lot of pros and cons, and I hope I have not ruffled anyones feathers, I feel you should be able to do what you want to do in the privacy of your own home provided you are not hurting anyone.

i would say ... LEGALIZE IT NOW
whats the big deal if the gov will tax you on it ?
would you rather them throw you in jail for it ? and impose a massive fine depending on how much you had ... ?
sure there would be more competition, but there would be better product ... so it would still fetch a premium price... if you have been slingin seeds sticks and stems(shitty brick weed) .. than ya your screwed.. time to get some better shit any way:joint::joint::joint:

thing is violence will go through the roof seriously, been talking to some friends that trap and they said if it happened they'd act a straight ass and rob a bunch of people.

All they can talk about is if it was legalized it would be a sad day while happy at the same time they can hit licks like crazy. Kids would be able to get it alot easier too.

You want to be a lick?

People shouldn't sling that brick shit anyway.

post answer's not sooo many questions:mrgreen:

i'm just going by truth, while it might not be major(speaking for the U.S. as a whole) it could very well become of that...
I'm just going by what some friends say... SO if all dealers did that and even punks looking for some quick cash/weed. What will happen then?

okay, we aren't talking about Obama while I get what you are saying.
let me put it in better terms.

Say you go to the store(or wherever weed would be sold) and you buy a ounce, a bruh is out there waiting for you and he straight knows you brought some weed you will be what is called a lick(target/victim of a crime).

now kids;
It'll make them want to do it more because it's legal now and everyone is doing it.

They should be in jail also. You should too if you are a medical mj patient as should I also.:peace:

i dont see why it matters. we all grow our own and if the risk could go away isn't that good? who cares if big government controls it..we would not buy it anyway. i haven't bought i so long now that i grow and the stuff i grow is much more powerful than anything i could buy.

being a drug dealer isn't cool and hats not what these message boards are about. it about learning how to cultivate.

if we can get rid of the middle man IE "gangsta's with guns" i am all for that
