im just in limbo right now with the dual citizenship , so im still only canadian and by law i have to return every 6 months or you loose[sic] it and other benefits

You don't lose your citizenship. My uncle was born in Canada in 1967 before leaving at the age of 2.
He came over in the summer, and was still considered a Canadian citizen.
So I'm not sure where you are getting your info on that particular matter.
Perhaps you are confused with the "permanent resident" status?

there are so many spin-off industries that mj and mmj create...
like gb said.... wait for it.....
Do we really think the gov was after a cut of the sale of mmj...?
its the HST....from all the input supply products that go into making a new legal product...
everything thing. water.....all the way thru to packaging ...HST...HST...HST

Legalization is gonna take time for sure, but MMJ is already legal. I consider MMJ part of the "low hanging fruit" that can be addressed immediately.

I'm hopeful it can be quick, yet expect it to take time.
That's why I am hopeful to see a moratorium on mj related charges except for
Trafficking related charges.

If the gov is serious about legalization, they could reschedule the substance and stop prosectutions. Stop wasting money on enforcement and still work toward full legalization and a continuance of prosecuting the major players like the organized crime aspects. Not mom and pop growers who grow small amounts for personal consumption instead of buying from the BM.

Those are small steps that can be taken immediately and will really make a huge difference almost instantly.
