Would you agree that generally speaking Canadians have different sets of laws and programs and by not having equal access and treatment as your neighbor it brews animosity between different groups of people?

The education is also a huge deal where I live, people get really pissed when they see kids go to school for free and they had to sell their farms to have their kids educated.

We should be adopting a model that provides post secondary education to any Canadian citizen free of charge. We spend money on worse things and we need a highly educated, innovative and productive society. We need to invest in all Canadians, for all Canadians.
i totally get where youre coming from

but i also thing racism stems from parentings just as much as government

Yup parenting for sure, but, most of the moaning and bitching or hateful things I've ever heard in my life ( re: racism in Canada ) stemmed from taxes, hunting, social programs, justice, education and the list goes on.
It was never really about the people personally, it was about a group of people who were treated differently and as such the people bitching felt like they were being short changed. In turn, the animosity continued to brew.

We need to make things fair for all Canadians without sacrificing everything so no one can benifit or prosper.

Chucks getting a lot of attention.
It would be crazy not to allow home grows just because of chuck and his connections.
I think it will work out fairly.

It's not just chuck...it's the system that's already in place and starting to thrive with the anticipation of regulated legalization...who made money the day after a federal election? Publicly traded LPs....welcome to corporate weed. Until someone starts talking medical and home grows, this is how I think it will be coming down the pipe. And let's not forget our friends to the south...I'm sure they're not paying attention to what's going on in the snow covered north...

the entitlement people dont fully understand though just to add

we all herd of how natives get free education what we dont hear is that they must maintain a 3.5 to 4.0 gpa and must have a 95% attendance rate ,
or else they must pay back everything in full
I had a 4.0 GP, excellent attendance and graduated with honours. My family are immigrants and I'm a first generation Canadian. I was a single parent of a child with special needs and still had to pay back EVERY CENT of my education. How is this fair?

instead of the chiefs getting a shit ton of money for selling land back in the day
they set out treaties with canadas government saying to disburse the money on things like education and health care

ive herd your argument before i said it myself, because i didnt realize why they got it

you may not think its fair, i think theres a better solution
but understand it in its full entirety as to why how when and who
not because you think you deserve full education

I'm sorry @sunni but why should other Canadians be denied the same opportunities?

That's a prime example of what I was saying, it's true for many people in Canada across a wide range of cultures.

The term indeginous bothers me. I and most people I know are indeginous because we were born here but are not afforded even the opportunity to free education. However, those who we have welcomed to join us shouldn't be treated any differently either.

I believe every Canadian citizen should be given the opportunity to go to school without paying for their education. No matter their race, and not due to race, because we are all Canadians and I believe and educated society is an innovative and productive society. We all benifit.

No divisions, we are Canadians and as such deserve equal treatment.
We can build a united Canada, Natives, French, and so on.

We, are Canada, we, know what it is to be Canadian and know what we should be doing to encourage the growth of the kind of country we love.

All I'm doing
Is giving people information on why they get these so called "freebies"
It's called educating the masses

They aren't free nothing is free
But it' helps stop people making racist generalization on shit they don't understand

sad truth is...

when we show'd...???!!!!

we conquered them
stuck them on reserves.
and we paid them to stay there because it's easier to control a small group by giving them just enough to hang themselves...
and the later groups after this was all done... just try to forget about it and let it slide.

just my opinion
